Enable WebXR on Apple Vision Pro to watch SexLikeReal

Blasaurus Nah you're confused, it doesn't work, just tried it. They surely made it easy now to install ALVR that's awesome, since yesterday (?) you can just download the app from the store. Then have SteamVR on a PC with a good GPU, install the ALVR client on the PC and you can run ALVR in your headset.

But like expected, passthrough does not work, surroundings are black. Only your arms/hands passthrough but that was already the case before of course.

No it works, you have to mess around with it, I only got to mess around with it for a hour today but what I did was turn on alpha passthrough on Heresphere then selected green as the pass through color in ALVR. It was clear as day, I’m going to mess around with it more tonight. But when I got it to work everything around the model looked like crystal clear Apple Vision Pro pass through only issue I had was a slight green outline around the model. I’m going to try messing with it more I’m sure there’s a way to get rid of the outline

Edit: also I was using Heresphere on steam, make sure u turn on passthrough from the ALVR menu inside the vision pro

WHAAAAT it works!!!! Hahaha, I honestly was about to post "you're pulling my leg", when I got it working!!! I put in all those settings you mentioned above in ALVR, in the headset. Then started Heresphere but it still wouldn't work. But the key is to select in 'user settings'

• background : passthrough
• Replace background with color: ON
• Green 1.0, others 0.0

And then with the video open in advanced video settings "Passthrough" and "alpha packed" and BOOM full passthrough working!!

Damn nice!!! Although the green tint around the model is a bit worse than I had hoped. But either way, it's WAAAAY better than not having PT at all Awesome, thanks my friend!

EDIT actually even with the green tint, this easily beats the Quest3. This is frikking amazing.

@Kieshi please make sure that the team is aware that PT IS possible on the AVP!!! Not sure why they haven't been able to get it up and running with DeoVR, but obviously they should be able to get it working too with DeoVR.

BTW same thing for that frequency issue that they currently have with their web player. The native version of DeoVR via ALVR doesn't have this issue, it's very smooth. The only thing is that DeoVR seems a bit slower in processing than Heresphere, so you have to turn down the resolution a bit for it to work smoothly.

Tried it some more, not going to lie, that green edge around the model is distracting. But daaaamn this quality is good and this is being resampled by ALVR and it's already way beyond Q3 quality. If we could get it going natively it would even look better. Especially the older PT SLR original productions look stunning (I dont like the recent european ones too much, different production team and worse quality). But with the older videos, daaaamn this is simply amazing

Ok this has definitely become my favorite way of fapping, might as well sell the Quest3 now, I'm sure I won't be using that anymore. The green border around the model in the end wasn't as distracting, once in fap modes my brain doesn't even notice it anymore LOL. The biggest downside though is that with Heresphere there's no PT AI. The thing I love about PT AI is that you can see your dick slide into the model ,that really yields some extra dimension to it. But like said, for me there's already no going back, AVP + ALVR + heresphere in PT mode really beats everything else out there.

Has any used spatialgen app in avp? I heard it plays vr videos.

The hub is a great improvement!! @Kieshi is the team working on PT for the AVP? It already somewhat works, if you look up to the screen where you can change the volume, PT mode works. However this way it's very faint. Hopefully the team can get it working like it's supposed to.

Played some more with it, honestly while it's (again) an improvement, I still don't think it's very useful at this moment, for the mere fact that it just stops working after a few video's. Also the fact that you don't know which video does or doesn't even work at all makes it pretty frustrating to use.

Obviously I very much welcome that it's still being worked on but right now the hub is still more of a proof of concept than something useful for the AVP IMHO.

Downloading and then streaming from a PC is still the way to go right now for the AVP.

Kieshi Well not entirely. I mean if you use ALVR with Heresphere, the PT works, as outlined in earlier posts (june 20th in this thread). So it IS possible right now. Not sure what the difference is with 'normal' PT mode or why it even works in Heresphere via ALVR. But I was kinda hoping that the DeoVR team would look into that and see if they understand how it works and can get it going natively from within DeoVR. Because if we'd need to wait on Apple, it might actually never even happen at all. And man that would be such a waste, the AVP is such an awesome headset!

Kieshi We made an update and VR Cam girls section now works on AVP

I noticed when checking out the cam section in the Hub (on Meta browser, Q3) that the controller pointer will vanish after having done a few clicks. You can still see the impact on the objects pointed at, but without the white dot it's becoming incredibly difficult to aim at them. I think the dot will come back after reloading the Hub but will vanish again quickly. Hope this can be fixed.

Edit: Workaround to keep the pointer dot from vanishing in the grid view: Before leaving a cam and going back to the grid, make sure to activate the pointer with the trigger before pressing the Back button.

BTW for anyone with an AVP, make sure you get a good strap, something like the " Elite Head Strap" on amazon.
Actually there are several similar ones on amazon and the best one might depend on your head shape. But the awesome thing is that witch this type of strap you can just entirely remove the entire facial interface,

so I'm talking about that grey part in the above photo. After you removed that, the lenses are like 'floating' before your eyes and you can press them up against your face, so they're getting really close to your eyes. That way the FoV is getting just SO much better, even substantially better than the Quest 3. This way porn on the AVP really is unbeatable.

@Kieshi As of yesterday the website no longer works for AVP. Videos launched yesterday via normal browser interface didn’t automatically play in VR. Attempts to watch video in VR forced the user to the VR hub (to the home page where they are signed out). Attempts to do the same on other websites continues to function as normal which rules out AVP software as the cause.

Today the problem became worse. Now AVP users can’t access the web interface at all, with auto-redirects occurring as soon as a user clicked a video (in contrast to yesterday when users were only redirected after clicking the headset logo in the bottom right of the video player). This issue now prevents AVP users from downloading videos in addition to forcing AVP users into the vastly inferior VR Hub interface. The VR Hub interface is so poor at hand tracking that absent sitting with two face-up open palms or hiding ones hands, almost any hand movement results in an unintentional click gesture making navigating the interface and correctly selecting an intended video nearly impossible.

Please reenable the option for AVP users to use the standard web interface and stop forcing redirects to the VR Hub.
