Cellphone lens in passthrough?

Hi.

I have a Galaxy Fold, and when im using passthrough, the x3 lens is used instead of the default 1x. How can we change what lens/zoom option is used? I'd like to be able to use the wideangle lense, or at least the default 1x

Hey Ticoune3000 , I'm not sure if this is doable at all since this option is controlled by the phone itself but I will check with the devs. Can you just let me know if you are using PT with a mobile browser or through a HapticsConnect app?

Ticoune3000 on my phone i tried on a different browser app then the one that comes with the phone and it looked to zoom in and it wasn't full screen.

But with the actual web browser that came with the phone it looks good, not zoomed in and full screen

Ticoune3000 Tnx for that info! I just received information from the devs that this is controlled automatically ~~by AI~~, as it's quite tricky to implement the option to choose a camera since you will have to physically have each phone to implement the code specifically for it.

On what basis does IA choose a lens?

Lets say I point my cellphone at something specific, could I trick the IA into shoosing a closed up lens or a wide angle?

Ticoune3000 Sorry for rephrasing it wrongly, it's not controlled by the AI, and the phone itself chooses the right camera. As for the part about tricking the phone into choosing a different one, for this one, I don't have the correct answer for that.

For example, I use Meet for video calls and when I switch to the back camera it always selects the wide-angle camera even though I have 3 cameras in the back, I simply don't have the option to choose a different camera on my Samsung phone.
