  • Crashes when trying to load Virtual real videos.

I've purchased an account on virtual real and downloaded a few videos from there but I didn't like their player that much. I tried loading them with DEO player and it just says "error loading video" and when I try it with yours it stays at "loading something awesome" then crashes.

    Hey. Unfortunately this is not support forum for DeoVR. Please try to contact that player support.

    You can try watching those videos in built-in SLR app player

      doublevr It does the same thing with the built in player. It will stay stuck at "loading something awesome" then it will crash.

      I have the same issues with VRP videos that have been downloaded, when I try to play them in the SLR player it just sits there and spins forever on the Loading Something Awesome screen.

        there can be many reasons for it. Please try installing LAV codecs http://www.free-codecs.com/download/lav_filters.htm Make sure you play the video your computer actually can play, for it just open what you download in regular player, try lower resolution if it stutters and glitches.

        If anything won't help you can try and sent me output_log.txt, from the directory where SLR was installed, I'll take a look in it.

          Philip I have the most recent KLite codec pack and I can play the video(s) in VLC they also play in Virtual Desktop and in the Virtual Real Player.

                  So from a bit of research, this seems to have been an ongoing problem that has been said to have been addressed in previous updates. It may have for some builds but not for all of them, everything that I have worked with multiple players and all work well enough in my Vive, but for some reason, the issue of loading forever in the SLR app is still a problem.

                  I think I may have found something, do you not support VP9? I went back and re-DL some of the videos in H264 and those seem to work, but nothing VP9 works, it just hangs at the loading screen.
