MY thoughts on what PT does better than VR

My Pimax crapped out so I had to get the Quest 2 up and running. Since I was using it I figured it was a good time to see what all the fuss was about.

It has some plus and minuses for me that I thought people don't seem to bring up. I'll start with the negative for me personally.

The big one being that I have the Handy hanging on a stand over the bed so the I can move it around without having to hold it. It is awesome for VR but in AR it really looks weird. This means the only real way for it to work is to turn the lights off. That makes it so it's only girls in a dark room but they are still brightly light. It still has a cool feeling of intimacy if everything lines up correctly.

The plus for me in AR is the story telling. I don't know if it is because of the director or because of it all having to be filmed with the idea of being in your bed. The plots are great for me. It's what I want in VR. They are believable scenarios of how I could have this girl in my bed.

I wrote down the last 30 SLR VR plots and the last 15 AR plots to compare.

In 2D porn I didn't really care about the plot, I was just watching people have sex. VR is completely different. I want to be the person in the scene. For me it has to make sense that this girl is about the suck my dick. You have to trick my brain into thinking this girl really does like me. The easiest way is to know that she is my wife or an old friend, some reason that my pants are coming off in 5 minutes. I understand that some people don't care about it and just want to have sex with the student, it's just to hard for me to usually make me believe it.

My point being I think VR could learn a thing or two from AR in what can make a scene great. By just stop trying to bang strangers all the time. Almost all of the scenes that are not your GF, are the first time have sex with the person.
Intimacy like AR is so immersive because we have all been there. ZERO of the scenes are with your wife.

The plots are way more believable in 2D and takes it's time to set up the scenario rather than jumping right into the fucking especially POV.

I'm talking about familytherapyxxx, Dadcrush, sis loves me, pervmom, property sex, fit18, bratty sis, bratty milf, atkgfs, etc

Some of these have multipart scenes which helps the immersion and also the conversation is 2 way even though it's a POV video which doesn't happen in VR (only girl speaks)
Not sure how a 2 way conversation will feel in VR but I want to try.

Also, with teamskeet and nubiles porn their plots are very different from each other and well written which some of the SLRO, badoinkvr, vrbangers and wankz are also good at.

One big thing that VR takes a hit is at one set scene basically the entire scene takes place in one fake studio room.

eyecandyboobs I'm sure it is easier to shoot 2D in multiple places compared to changing the VR camera around. I guess I'm not even talking about changing the camera because the PT videos are all in the same room.

I know some people get tired of the vanilla GFE but if you look at what is shot, It's really not that many in the first place. Almost all of the scenes are sex with someone for the first time. Either a stranger or a taboo coworker or step family.

If you make it so that it's not first time and are just cheating with the person. Or if you want to do the step thing, then make it so it's the 20th time you are doing. You guys are sneaking away from everybody. This way it fills in the story without all the awkward one way talk about how she has to suck it seemingly out of nowhere.

Even easier is your wife wakes up next to you in bed on vacation. This has a story from the start, its believable and you don't have to move the camera all over the place. That is what I found to be the best thing about PT.

Completely disagree with this, obviously it’s just a matter of taste and all subjective but I don’t see the attraction of fucking your wife/girlfriend in porn. Who fantasises about fucking the person they get to fuck all the time?

I still like a story/scenario as much as anyone, not just gonzo stuff (although I’m not opposed to some gonzo porn) but the story should be exciting and sexy, being seduced by someone new, rather than just being with your wife/girlfriend.

petermc Different strokes for different folks. Luckily for you then almost all of the VR scenes are with first time encounters.

rerun119 there’s a lot more girlfriend/wife stuff in VR than there is in porn generally. I’m pleased to see your research though which shows a trend away from it in the last few weeks. Not many of them have been any good though either way!
