Is VR porn less popular than 2d porn?

I have been watching VR porn for about 2 years now and I dont think I could go back to watching 2d porn again, but here's the big question is 2d porn more popular than VR porn ?
I think VR porn is still behind 2d porn and it may take some time to catch up, VR porn still has many problems that it needs to address, bad camera angles, bad quality, size issues with models, we have all seen those videos where the models look like giants or like hobbits , also many VR studios keep using the same models and it can get boring seeing the same faces and body types, also VR Porn lacks many niches , Not enough Amature, Arab, Black ,Ebony, Overweight, BBW, Tall, Gingers, Grannys, Matures, British, Goths, Mexican, Chinese ,Hairy, Lingerie, Outdoor, Swingers .the VR library for these categories is limited compared to 2d , I will continue to watch VR porn but it does need to improve it is a better experience than 2d , interested to hear other member on the forum opinions and what they think of VR porn and its future.

Hell, i got a free week for brazzers recently and i hardly used it, most times i forgot i had it, like now, just now i remember i had it...the free week might be over tho, but yeah i hardly ever watch 2d anymore.

But i will occasionally watch couples have sex in vr like pornodan or sum of the pervrt stuff or during a group sex scene of course i'll look over to the other couple fucking, oh and ima big fan of mirrors or the reflections off a tv or windows of the sex while in a vr 1on1 scene... but rarely do i watch 2d any more. 🤷‍♂️

If i do watch anything 2d these days its mostly titty drops on reddit or checking out pornstars twitter page. Thats about it.

I think it just has to do with accessibility. For 2D porn there are like a million and one sites where you can just go and not have to pay a single dime. Where as for VR you at most would see a 5 min long video preview and thats it. Most people dont actually want to pay when they can get the same sort of viewing pleasure as something free. Besides VR porn is miles behind. They havent even scratched the surface in terms of fetishes. Dont have near as many actresses on screen. Right now i feel like the japanese are pioneering VR they release regular QUALITY content. They hit almost every fetish imaginable. Most american/european studios still use the same old boring scenes, same old boring positions, and the same old boring thin as a stick models.

Getmein Yes I agree with you the Japanese certainly have conquered the VR market with many fetishes, I find myself drawn and excited more with Japanese VR , as you say the american stuff can be so boring , same actresses , same camera angles and stick thin models , you talked about the VR trailers its shocking that the VR trailers are only 2-5 minutes compared to regular 2d stuff, Japanese VR trailers are worse only 60 seconds .

2D porn will always be more accessible because not many sites perceive it as a video of a sexual nature. That is, sites do not always see such a video as porn. Such a video can be hidden among videos with ordinary cartoons and other stuff, you know. I could often stumble upon some hentai video when I was reading a standard manga or watching anime. In addition, the Japanese are so inventive in terms of fetishes that they will find videos for every taste. All public sites like pornhub have long been tired of everyone.

VR is less popular for several reasons, but the main ones are the high cost of equipment for shooting VR videos, as well as VR playback devices. After all, if someone wants to watch a 2D video, then just from a smartphone goto strip2 and can immediately watch it, without additional devices. But technologies do not stand still and over time VR will become cheaper, and as a result, more popular.

I'm a fan of VR porn and been so for the last decade. But I've said it many times, that VR has huge potential but it's not getting utilized. So like others I still consume more 2D content to this day than VR. The reality simply is that the content I enjoy and have releases daily in 2D, VR is simply starved of.

Not watching 2d porn anymore for the last 5 years. It's just nowhere near as exciting. 2d porn is about seeing another couple having sex. PT is about the viewer having sex and regular VR is somewhere in between of those 2.

I still watch 2D porn. I find that eventually I get desensitized to VR porn after watching it for a few weeks at a time. Swapping back to 2D porn for a few weeks can help revive that sensitivity. I almost never watch professional 2D porn, mostly just camgirl/amateur stuff.

Good question. If you asked 3 years ago I would say 2d porn was popular but headsets are cheaper. 'Silicon Valley' (metaphor saying) is getting competitive, like phones are. China, Japan, America are involved in the vr race.

Pros of VR over 2d: VR is submersible and as close to reality. Now wireless VR has gotten cheaper (wireless aka no pc needed). 2D POV doesn't match VR.

Pros of 2d: you can use on your phone or pc or laptop so more versatile.

So my money on VR.
