I would pay good money for some high quality non-porn VR content if it was eg. full-length standup shows, concerts, documentaries, etc. Issue is that no-one seems to explorer such directions. Instead non-porn VR is just short videos of random stuff often filmed in low quality and without any real direction.

              People watch hours and hours of walking/tour videos on youtube, it would look and feel a lot better in high quality VR with spatial audio - people pay for that

              Speaking of, i've been meaning to checkout SliceoflifeVR as he makes those kind of videos but he's not on DeoVR - Wonder if he'd be interested in hosting on there?

              Although unlike SLR, there doesn't seem to be any financial gain for uploaders?

                  Saw this documentary about that climber on quest (you know the one that free climbs these insane rock mounts). The quality was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it. In the past the poor video quality always put me off of the major releases.

                  Would really like to see planet earth like VR but with really good quality. Probably in a few years.

                    I think its a flawed system, hiding content behind a paywall because advertisers dont want to touch it seems like the worst way to try and "grow" the non-porn VR scene. If you go on the site more than half of the content you cant even watch because its behind the paywall and most of it looks like junk anyways that nobody should be paying for. General content should not be hidden behind a paywall, there should be other incentives to being a premium member like simply being able to have that same download ability. Classis case of trying to run before you can even walk. It will fail because of this and they will simply blame it on lack of demand lol
