SchnuppiLilac who is picking these videos? Did they want to start with the worst ones? Should be running the AI on their original vids with the best scale, least background movement etc. idk who picked these first few vids but you’d think they’d want to launch this feature with quality content. What’s the process for releasing new AI pt vids? Can we request certain ones?

Guenthalg I'd say it's the right way to introduce an experimental feature that is not perfect yet. It still has some flaws but in my view it works already better than the chromakey PT hack where you often have holes for eyes.

SchnuppiLilac I was really hoping that the feature to 'delete the guy' was going to be implemented but I didn't see that being utilized in the demo video.

Manny_S is the 'delete the guy' feature still being worked on? That's what I've been most eager to try out.

Vrsumo2017 very interested in the 2nd one.

From what i saw so far the current DeoVR AI PT is piece of crap - totally unusable ... Needs tons of work and improvements to become something really usable . Guess if they develop the PC version instead the standalone and use the way more powerful Nvidia and AMD GPUs it could work much better but guess this wont happens any soon ...

boboweb I don't think it's calculating the passthrough in real time, they have to be rendered and it's most likely done the same way it's done with regular passthrough by the time it's streaming to the headset.

Why are all the initial passthrough AI video choices so bad? None of these make sense for passthrough.
