Hello,
What would be the best setting (in the downloads section) for viewing videos on a 1920x1080 desktop resolution? I don't really want the black bars on the side.
Thank you

suntan111 Oh man, please do yourself a favor and look into getting a VR headset if you're in a position to. You'd be missing out on like 95% of the fun watching our content in 2d on your monitor
Thanks for the pointer!
I'll prob be picking up a quest 2 in the new year then. I'm assuming the h.265 format will be suitable for it.
One more question though... What's the difference between, for example:
"6k h.256" and "6k h.256 ORIGINAL"
The second one has a larger file size but doesn't appear to be immediately different, visually.
Thanks!

Yep! And the Quest 2 can play pretty much all content that's currently out with no issues whatsoever.
If you're dead-set on watching content on a 2d monitor, then my honest suggestion would be to stream the content. If you download a scene, it will display as side-by-side (SBS) video, whereas at least with streaming you can get a bit of the POV effect.
There might be apps/etc. to play SBS videos as one single pane, but since they wouldn't be directly supported there's not much I can help with as far as specific suggestions.
Maybe some other folks will chime in
justsomedude101 If you're dead-set on watching content on a 2d monitor
This is literally THE most heartbreaking thread in this forum
suntan111 the ORIGINAL is the uncompressed full file. In music terms itโs like the lossless version of the scene rather than the compressed iTunes version. Whether you notice sufficient difference to justify the massively bigger file size is debatable. Some say you can, others say you canโt. You need very good Wi-Fi speeds to watch the bigger version if using Quest as a standalone system and not wired up to a PC.
watching 2d porn on a VR headset is great btw...i do that about 30 percent of the time and the result is kinda the same
but once you see some VR clips...it will be like a kid in a candy store
spanker If you like 2d definitely check out Heresphere with multi-screen
Get yourself 9 (or more) vids at the same time. By default the sound will come from the one you are looking at, but you can enable all audio in settings
i will do that.
been on quite the 4month binge of missav in 2d....for the lil jav people out there
