My opinion: I'm all for a joint venture with many of the stars of Manyvids. Mindi Mink, Sydney Harwin, Xev Bellringer, Sloan Moans, TatooedTemptress, Nikki Brooks, Bettie Bondage and the list goes on and on. I WANT them in VR.
However if you dig a bit into it the issue starts to surface. For example most of these woman work exclusive alone or in tight groups. Eg. Mindi Mink doesn't do anything outside her own private production as it's financially not worth it for her. Nikki Brooks stated she doesn't shoot for others anymore. Bettie Bondage completely ignores VR questions. My guess is it the same for many of these mega stars.
Another issue is that while some of them likely want to shoot VR they simply don't have the know-how of how to do so and the cost to learn it is astronomically high compared to 2D and it's for a market that is vastly smaller. At least that's what Mindi Mink told me.
So as I see it for these women to look towards VR we either need VR to become so mainstream that the market cannot be ignored, or we need easy-to-use VR cameras and software or finally that a studio (like SLR) is willing to do a joint venture where they offer the equipment and know-how of how to shoot great VR scenes to one or more of these women. Personally I see Sydney Harwin as a great candidate for such a joint venture as she's creative powerhouse that work hard. But issue with such a solution is that the content these women produce is hunted wild by payment processors currently which is a risk many studios such a SLR are most likely not willing to take. They are for sure being hunted of OnlyFans these days.
