I generally use my desktop to browse the SLR site and look at the new offerings by reading comments and skipping through the video to see if there is something I like. My feed is heavily filtered so I get maybe 5 or 6 new vids a day. If there is something I like - and it has a script - I will download it and the script to watch in Heresphere later. I never stream.
I don't care for DeoVR for all of the reasons in this post: e.g., white balanced/color fixing, better pan/zoom, better scaling. I don't like browsing the SLR site on Deo as my wifi is too slow and I have a gigabit wired connection on my desktop. I also don't like the shorts cluttering up my feed and that my filters don't seem to carry over properly from the desktop site.
Unfortunately, since the last website player update, skipping through a video more than two or three times on my desktop will cause it to not load, or stutter, or simply lock up, which didn't happen before. This makes even my prferred method somewhat tedious. I have an I9-13900K, 128GB of RAM, Nvidia 3090 card, gigabit connection, and all codecs installed and updated, so it isn't my rig or connection causing the issue. This occurs in Chrome, haven't tried it on Edge or other browsers. Running Win 11.
