doublevr Lowering Alex Mack production to one release a month until we get back to bangers.

What do you mean by "bangers" in this case? Like multi-girl scenes? Or do you just mean scenes that perform really well?
Also, if he's doing only one release a month, is there anyone that will be replacing the VR scenes that he would have shot? Or does it mean we will be getting fewer VR scenes per month?

What does "2.0" mean? And more importantly, what does "make it or break it" mean? That last part sounds worrisome...

doublevr It feels like mainstream content production is saturated. Too many people are shooting very similar scenes and there's very little innovation on production side of things.

I get that, and I agree. It's hard to have standout scenes consistently. I understand that's part of the allure of PT technology. It's something to improve upon and explore. I'm fine with that too. Innovation is good. Additionally though, I would suggest one thing that did set SLROriginals apart from the rest was Nash's "bangers" (as I call them) meaning his multi-girl scenes and series. Especially now, that is a void that is currently up for the taking. Since NaughtyAmerica stopped their Friday Foursomes (they released a BGGG every Friday for 3 years), multi-girl fans are left a bit stranded. RealJamVR puts out a good number of these still, and many of them are great. But that is a space that Nash really was masterful at. I hope he/SLRO will do more of this in the future.

          That's because everyone gets too hyper focused on specs and resolution and there is very little innovation going on in regards to the actual content being shot. Some of my favorite VR scenes to this day are japanese 4K scenes that are censored, not because of the camera quality or resolution of the file, but because of the actress and the scenarios and outfits and buildup and overall story. People always get caught up in the tech rat race and forget what really matters until everyones content starts looking all the same and then everyone wonders why things slow down.

          Dont ever forget that most people would rather watch great content in 720p vs crap content in 8k

          Try to think outside the box and use VR as your medium while not forgetting that ultimately what matters most is not the camera or tech but what is happening in front of the camera.

            Look at @VRPlayful for inspiration. They have only released three scenes, but they are already setting the standard for innovation.

            • A multipart 2h20m long VR scene with incredible sexual tension and buildup.
            • A kinky squirting scene (direct to camera which is hard af to find in western VR porn).

            What I (and probs many others) would like to see more of:

            -Storylined scenes (less vanilla), esp. Raw Taboo. Interconnected scenes (like Blake series earlier this year). Scenes that have progression and not just straight to full blown sex within 5 mins.
            -A modern relationship 2
            -BGG, BGGG, BGGGG
            -Explore new positions (Veronica Leal's VRPlayful scene had a standing 69)
            -Younger+older
            -Squirting
            -JAVVR intimacy stuff: body worship, face licking, spit/drool exchange...

                  Is that mean we will get more Raw Taboo scenes as those were where Alex Nash shined and they were the different ones that the other studios are producing? If it means more Raw Taboo scenes (since last one was months ago) it is really good news. We need more raw taboo content and it was the ones that were always popular and differrent from what other studios producing. @doublevr

                      This is the part where I echo what everyone else is saying and reiterate that I'd like to see better stories and set-ups, new concepts, etc like I do seemingly every few months and then everyone goes back to making the same stuff they were already doing.

                      Long epic scenes like Modern Relationship and the VRPlayful scenes have performed well so we can't say there's no audience for it anymore. Time to start digging into the scenario suggestions. Steal concepts from flat porn and JAV. Make episodic scenes that have a singular narrative thread. You can't be leaders in innovation and also be terrified of taking risks on anything that may not be an instant hit.

                      More anal scenes. I might understand it's not for everyone but 2 in 4 months is just unacceptable. And most of them these years were shot by Alex Mack (aka a waste). Realjamvr is taking the lead, will be funny when they slowly retire from SLR (their scenes are releasing now much slower here).
                      BGG+ scenes are also not for everyone (i hate them, to me it kills VR intimacy) yet it's ok to waste $$$ on multiples models but not on anal for a SINGLE model?!

                      And yes, more stuff from @VRPlayful although they only shoot in europe sadly. Make them travel to SLR studios 😃

                      Oh and BTW, just because you think "PT rock solid", please please please watch the scenes YOURSELF rather than just relying on fanboys and likes. Most of them are BADLY shot (making Alex Mack scenes a masterpiece): most models look only in one lens, most positions are just not working (doggie, missionary are terribly angled) and one cowgirl position also doesn't work unless you are sitting in a chair. Do I wanna move in my apartment and do my workout while watching porn?!

                      But anyway, please watch doggie & mish, and try to align, YOU CAN'T, because the girl will also move with you! So please keep in mind these scenes are just good for cowgirl, rest is unwatchable. Honestly I'm not a PT hater, but these in VR? People would complain about the TECHNIQUE. Please put this "PT is amazing" idea aside for a minute and just look at the technique. Just because it's new and people like it blindly cuz it's "better than no PT" doesn't mean Simsense is a god. Even Alex Mack can do these better 😃

                        metichemsi Damn good point. I revisit more scenes that are lower visual quality than higher ones that seem copy paste. I don't personally care about things like BDSM and niche kinks, although there's a time and place for everything, but maybe some more teasing/ voyeurism (i.e. "return to Aquarius Spa with ACC and Jamie Jett) and setting changes would be a good place to start freshening things up.

                            I think you guys mostly do a pretty good job.

                            The last month or so the casting has been a lot more unknown girls, a few milf scenes, and 4 Jia Lissa scenes(2 would have been enough)

                            But there's also been a few really good scenes, well castings really. It seems like casting is the most important thing for driving likes. Maybe you should get someone to communicate more with members in the casting threads or do some polls on who people want to see next?

                            Also, i can't think of any girl that i want to see 4 similar scenes from in a 1 month time frame. Jia Lissa is great, but that's just too many.

                                  vrguy69 resolution and good creative content are not mutually exclusive. I don't get why people so often think that a new camera means you have to slack of with everything else. Sure for a few scenes you l'll have to get to know the new gear but after that you just have better resolution which is very important too.

                                  I think it's just paranoia rooted in the issues related with the introduction of the Canon camera. Nobody ever complained about camera upgrades for long before. In fact they where almost always universally celebrated.

                                    I like Jia too but all those scenes were so samey. They could have shot a few other girls instead of shooting the same scene 4 times.

                                      Pls add some more positions , right now it's always the same 2 cowgirl at seated, 1 missionary and 1 closeup mish and 2 cowgirl laying down, 1 doggy. Add some more positions here and there pronebone, standing missionary, standing 69 (that's was creative one from @VRPlayful 's part), side by side. and give the character time to build , not fully naked and giving a bj within 5mins.

                                          How about kissing in the pool, taking a shower together, standing doggy in the shower, driving home together in a car, sex in the back seat of the car or on the car. Dancing together in the night club, chilling in the chillout lounge, sitting at the bar, habing sex on the sky beach roof with an amazing view?
