Hi! I was wondering whether there is currently a way to connect Quest 3 with OSR2/SR6 without using a link from the quest to my PC.

For context, my previous setup was using an HTC Vive Pro 2 / Pimax 8k + MultiFunPlayer + Deo/ Heresphere + SR6. (All PC Tethered)

Now that I have purchased a quest 3, I wanted to give pass through an honest attempt with the SR6, but in the instructions thread for interactive help, the T-Code wireless setup seems to only be available for the PC version of the Deo app and not directly from the Quest 3 deo app since I seem to only see the ability to connect Haptics Connect / Handy and not the T-code option.

Was just wondering if there is a way to actually connect the OSR6 to the quest 3 / deo without attaching my Quest 3 to the PC (I am aware that the SR6 requires the usb connected to the windows PC)

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there isn't a known/supported way to make passthrough work with OSR2/SR6. I'm also waiting for this to arrive.

SLR has said that they will add wifi support to OSR2/SR6 once Tempest has added this to the firmware. But we don't have an ETA from Tempest on this yet (though he has said it is a priority in the past).

Now, I haven't tried this, but there is an 'unofficial' solution. You can use Khrull's OSR2/SR6 firmware (which supports wifi), along with Multi-Fun player to rig this up. Could be an interesting project for the holidays.
If anyone here tries this out and gets it working let me know!

justanotherone - @netcat provides a great response - currently you will need to connect direct to your pc and use Quest over usb cable, but you should be able use the Air Link option on your Quest 3 for wireless streaming from your PC

    RealcumberScripts Once we do have support for OSR2/SR6 wifi integrated into DevoVR though, another challenge will emerge.
    One of the big advantages OSR2/SR6 has is that it can be set up such as to add random movement to non-scripted axises, which makes a huge difference when configured as follows:
    OSR2 <-> usb link <-> MFP (pc) <-> DevoVR (pc) <-> usb link <-> Quest3

    It would be nice to have a similar solution for PT videos - as going back to just single axis would be hard...
    But this may be solvable on the MFP side.
