Ridiculous streaming speed

Both the streaming and download are extremely slow for me.

Sure, I'm getting the same speed issues to the point that isn't worth it to get a premium account if you're not available to retrieve any content. This is my test speed 4038 over a 600 Mb 5G conection.

I have a 400Mbs cable connection that tests out at 390Mbs wireless on the 5Ghz band. A 4.3GB download says it will take 5hrs.

Not very good.

Hi, I am also currently experiencing long load times when trying to stream Premium videos through the PS4 RSS feed using the Littlrstar VR app on my PS4 console. When the videos do eventually load, they constantly buffer every several seconds. My PS4 has a direct cable Internet wired connection to the router. Unfortunately, I'm unable to connect to the your Speed Test site on the PS4's built-in web browser. However, I ran a connection test from the PS4 Settings menu and I currently have a Download speed of 112.1 Mbps and an Upload speed of 7.2 Mbps, approximately. I hope this helps. Thank you!

jerredee There is a separate issue with the PSVR RSS feed we are looking into.
Do you have an option to perform the speedtest on desktop, and check if streaming works there?

SamSuppVR Ok, I see. Please let me know once the RSS feed issue has been resolved. I'd appreciate it. Unfortunately, I don't own another VR headset other than a PSVR headset, so I can't test if the streams work from my laptop. Thanks, again!

Speed test 4095. Streaming has been completely broken for about a week. Unusable. Just tried it now and still constant buffering.

Downloads are going extremely slow for me today too. 4-5 hours to download for a 3.5GB video from premium. It is taking so long that the server is cutting me off and the video file is corrupted. I can't try the streaming because my internet is too slow for it.

Speed is so slow, service is unusable. Created a support ticket days ago, and was told it was fixed and to retest to which I replied that it was not, and no other response received. No issue with other websites, Speedtest 4127, 160Mbps, actual speed, 40KBps.

Having the same issue here I thought I should share my experience.

Test with my 1Gbs internet = around 1-4 Mbps (test id 4160)
Test with my phone (other provider) = 35 Mbps (test id 4159)

Not sure about the others but on my side its definitely my internet provider having low bandwith issues to your servers. (Orange = French internet provider).

Had the same issue with other servers in Germany and a "tracert" to your servers indicate it transit by the same I had issues with = *opentransit.net . (Nothing to do except waiting for an upgrade on my provider side.)

New to the service but instantly dissatisfied. However, I have today tested with and without a VPN - turns out my ISP is throttling porn sites.

My download of a 120fps video went from > 24 hours to 45mins with the click of a button. I am yet to test streaming (which was unusable) as my cleaner might look at me strangely.

The SLR speedtest changed from 1-3mbps (fluctuating wildly, might I say) to 30 - 50mbps.

So worth everyone considering that the megacorps are trying to fiddle with your fiddling. In hindsight, this explains why 4k pornhub videos stream instantly over my mobile but I have endless problems over broadband...

dibid FYI we are not ever throttling any connections, and most of the issues are with ISP/ network provider

any connection to SLR. download or streaming has been unusable for at least the past week. Email sent to suppot, however this seems to be a unaddressed issue. Can I get credit, or refund for unusable service? No one from SLR on responds on Discord site

sept 30 you showed me a https://www.speedtest.net result of 3.34 Mbps to Falkenstein and said that's your expected speed. That's just not enough to stream.
I asked you to test Frankfurt and LA just to make sure because 3 Mbps is indeed ridiculous by today's standard and never received those test results.
To be clear about possible confusion between Mbps and MB/s I even added that 3 MB/s = 24Mbps.

Older 4K require 15 Mbps, more recent 4K video require 40 Mbps. With 2 Mbps upload to avoid buffering issues.

On discord, I just went to bed an hour or so before you posted.

Hi...I'm using Quest 2 SLR app/DeoVr... My isp provide 300mbps speed.
For past few months the SLR streaming speed was excellent (above 50-80mbps) and stream up to 8k with excellent.... But few weeks ago till now it just 10-20mbps speed. I'm from Asia.
