Manny, are you aware of this? I finally realized after 3 years of watching VR porn, and with the popularity of eye contact and having her face super close to mine, that not only does she need to look in the very centerpoint of the rig or actually in the very center of the two lenses, but that if she is looking off from said sweet spot by even a few milimeters, the effect we see in our headsets can exaggerate her off glance, and she can appear to not be looking at us at all but at our hair or ear or at the director lol. This is still happening all the time!!! I watch a lot in 2d on my cell phone. And whenever I get a chance to watch some great, new scene in my headset, sometimes i get a huge letdown when i run into this problem. What is the problem? She HAS been told to look at the center target, but the importance isn't explained about looking in the dead center. So as she performs and im sure gets quite stressed at times, she will forget the importance. So, the majority of the scene she is looking in the middle, BUT OFF BY A FEW MILIMETERS. probably transfixed by a LED status light or the rig's logo. Whatever it is that she's looking at, it's very close to the center. But it's not in the center. And the convex lenses exaggerate her off glance, And when we watch it in our headsets, it ends up seeming like she's looking at our forehead or our ear, or something annoying. Recent example is the Carolina guerero secretary scene. Private secretary. The bj part. Omg i was looking forward to it in my headset. But I was let down. Lando didn't tell her. Or, somebody didn't.
My question: do you know about this? Do you know that if they are looking in between the lenses or near your target sticker that you have in the middle of your rig? Do you know that if they are not looking directly at it in the very center, that it causes them to appear to be not looking at our eyes when we watch in the headset? My request: and i know it's kind of tedious, but II know for a fact, it needs to be stressed and repeated to them. So they know the importance of looking at the dead center. Maybe it's because I watch a lot of this stuff that I i'm a little more picky. But maybe not. I'm telling you, the quality goes down significantly if the girl is not looking in the dead center, it's very important. So please, i know you are a nice guy. You seem like a nice guy. Can you please emphasize this detail to them? The female talents. Moving forward and try to spread the word to Other studios? The industry as a whole will benefit immensely. There are articles online written about this. People far more educated and experienced than me have already studied and written about it. Im just mentioning it and hoping for the importance to be known by all.
