Whenever I try to play a PorncornVR video on DeoVR in their api, I get an error saying the video format is not supported or something like that. I have to go into their desktop site instead and use the download link.
Just making you aware in case it is an easy fix.
Rakly3 sorry, I’ll give you a bit more info. I’m using a Quest 2 and watching through DeoVR, not the SLR site. The videos they have on SLR work fine on the SLR api.
If I go to PorncornVR in the Deo browser and click on their api however, none of those videos work (if you want an example try the latest Jessica Starling one). I don’t know the resolution as I’m just clicking play on the thumbnail. If you come out of the api and go to their desktop website, you can then do the traditional method of clicking on the download link to stream the video which works fine. It’s just the api which doesn’t.
petermc We don't have access to their website, nor can we change anything about it. But checking one of the files they upload to us, it suggests it has something to do with the time code metadata. But I can not confirm that with 100% certainty as the studio file isn't necessarily encoded the same as their public files.
Rakly3 no worries. I just thought with Deo being your app, the api issue might be something on your end especially as the download links work fine on their website.
I’m sure I’ve been told in the past too that you do the support function for RealjamVR and these are obviously a sister site to Realjam.
