I had issues with DeoVR through Steam on PC a long while back also. Tried uninstalling / reinstalling both Deo itself and Steam and neither fixed the issue. I'll have to try again soon, but once that happened I tried HereSphere and HereSphere felt like I upgraded my headset. The controls and setup can get pretty damn annoying, and it doesn't play every video, but I definitely saw an upgrade in clarity at the time. I don't know if the difference still exists or not, because I switched back to usually using the SLR app, because the SLR app (and DeoVR, if it worked, since it's the same) is much more user friendly, easier to set up and plays everything, including photos (jpgs at least).
