Connect SLR to HC app link doesn't work.

I'm pretty sure the latest quest update broke the HC app, it no longer scans for bluetooth devices. I am trying to install the app on a smartphone and I am getting the following error when trying to link SLR account to HC app inside the browser on the HC APP

When trying to link SLR account to HC app "ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME".

I have tried sideloading the latest APK on quest 2, I can scan for Bluetooth devices and but I still can't link SLR account to HC app, same error msg inside quest 2. Any advice?

After some playing around I have managed to find a temporary solution, By the looks of it there may be a bug with the native browser inside the Haptics Connect app v 2.0.4 not being able to load hapticsconnect:// urls.

I installed an older version of Haptics Connect (1.9.2) on an Android phone, this is a version of the app that doesn't have the "browser" function. I then logged onto SLR in another window using the Android browser then click the Connect SLR to HC app link and this seems to synchronize with the DeoVR app on Quest 2.

I can't seem to find any solution for running the Haptics Connect app on Quest 2 however, maybe there needs to be a feature within the DeoVR app to click the Connect SLR to HC app link button?

Don't use the HC built-in browser if you want to connect with DeoVR.

There is no HC app for Quest.

Starting from DeoVR v13.13 it is planned to no longer need the HC app, rather connect the toy directly to your headset and DeoVR.
