I just set mine up and it works great for reading any video files with DeoVR but I can't figure out how to make it works with .funscript files. The interactive script icon is not showing at the top of the player either.
Is there a Plex setting somewhere to allow .funscript files to be shared?

You might need SMB for scripts but Deo doesnt support SMB

For the record, you don't NEED Heresphere. DeoVR works with XBVR, it just lacks the sorting/search features, and without Heresphere's visual qualities.

SinSinCos This XBVR is not easy to set up though, I'll have to dig for more information. It would be great if Plex would work with funscript.

I finally made Plex DLNA work with DeoVR and funscripts. The problem was with its convention of auto-renaming.

PeeTee As I explained in the first post, I was able to connect to Plex DLNA and playing videos. So I'm assuming you're on the same page so far.

So first, all funscript files must be in the 'Interactive' folder of the Quest 2 and must have exactly the same filenames as the video files, except for the extension of course.

If you are there in the process and you can play your videos but no interactive icon (so no funscript detected). You should notice that video names are different than the real video filenames. This is because Plex cleans up filenames for display but DeoVR must see the filename that matchs the funscript filename. Depending on settings, some characters are removed (dash, underscore,etc...) and it capatalizes the first letter of each words. To fix that your library type must be set as "Other Videos", so in Advanced tab in libray editor, I have Scanner: "Plex Video Files" and Agent: "Personal Media". This way the only thing added to the filename is the year at the end. So to avoid that, in Plex, delete the date in each movie and the date will be locked with a default value. Just remember the filename in DeoVR should be exactly as the real video filename. Another solution is to add the year to the funscript filename only so it will match the new video filename without having to delete the date.

I'm still trying to forced Plex not to add the date, which is certainly possible.

          Thank you so much! 👍
I didnt add the year at the end of scripts filename..

PeeTee Yeah, adding the year to script is an alternative if don't want to delete the date in Plex. But it's easier to delete the date. This way you don't have to figure out the exact year to add to the script filename.

bboy7895 Plex DLNA server is installed on my desktop and video files are on a HDD on the same computer.
