  • Scripts not working on Quest2 DEOVR for Handy

I've just recently reactivated my account subscription and purchased a script membership.

When I log into the website on DEOVR and click the scripts filter, I see the blue icon on the thumbnails only for a fraction of a second and then it disappears, this also happens when loading a new page of thumbnails, blue icon for a fraction of a second on scripted videos, then no more icon.
I get prompts saying the the handy is connected, handy is synchronising, but its seems as though the videos have not scripts when they should.
I've tried restarting the headset and app, logging in and out several times and turning the handy off and on. each time its says the handy is connecting/connected. but it does not work.

    Hey, can you please reinstall the app (you will loose all your local settings btw) and try again.
    There might be some caching issue we are not aware.

    I just did the transfer from the older SLR app to DEO-VR. I uninstalled the previous App and freshly installed DEO-VR. I can confirm the bug from @tdm87. If I go to the script-site I can see the script icons on the thumbnails for like half a second before they disappear. On script-videos, I no longer have the option to turn scripts on and off, like the whole feature disappeared.
    I've also tried restarting the headset (Quest 2), the app, new login, andreinstall of the DEO-VR-App.
    Do you have any other advice we could try? Really missing scripts 🙂

      I have the same issue on Oculus Rift S when using DEOVR today. The icons are not shown and the videos scripts aren't playing. I did a clean install of both apps. unplgged and replugged my headset and re-paired the device to HC and they still don't work, even the local ones so it might be on DEO's side.

      My Onyx+ still responds to HC, but won't play scripts in SLR on DEOVR.

      Like the others, the fleshlight icon in the sidebar during a video doesn't even exist.

      Edit, the icon was present on local videos and was able to turn on the feature. still not working on the SLR website through DEO though.

      Welp, at least I can still enjoy those. Will wait for a fix.

        • For Quest deices, please include if you are using DeoVR on PC or not. And if possible, which app version. How did you install the app? Sideloaded, App store.
        • For DeoVR on PC in general, please include which VR drivers (software) you are running, Meta/Oculus, SteamVR, WMR, other. Wired/wireless. Any other apps (ie Virtual Desktop. GPU, model and driver version.
        • Any other relevant information.

        Without information, we can't do much.
