  • Pico 4 and SLR app are not syncing to my OSR2

So i was able to make the OSR2+SLR app on desktop work just fine using my Pico 4 to access scenes on my desktop.
But now my issue is that the scenes/scripts are not being picked up by anything coming from the SLR app on the PICO4 nor on its local files that i have downloaded onto the headset.
Any idea what i missed? the headset connects fine to the Stream assistant , but haptics indicator is a red dot.

Hey @Bucket619, as of now the OSR2 is only able to run on the PC (Windows) version of the SLR app. This is an unfortunate limitation caused by the USB connection. We should be able to add direct OSR support to Pico and Quest once the OSR firmware supports Wi-Fi.

However, you should be able to run the SLR App on PC and stream the app to your Pico.

RealcumberScripts the strange thing now is that the Haptics using the Wireless option and SLR/Deovr on Pico lights up green but it does not pick up the osr2. i did try any option i could from those forum links and did not work. At least the Desktop got to work. Now just need the Headset SLR to work and get a signal from the Joyfunscript .

raser1 What is strange is that on my other PC, the OSR2 was working just fine a week ago when i used the Pico 4 SLR/Deovr app. Why do you think it work there on that PC but not on this new one ?
Everything on the Pico has been the same but does not sync on the new Pc(yet reads the green Haptic light) but works on thr old one. 🤔
Yet both PC versions work fine .

Very strange. What do you think?

Update: So Wireless Desktop SlR/Deovr app works fine (lags a bit)
Wireless Pico 4 SLR app is actually picking up the signals from the headset and i can see it on Joyfunscript as well that it syncs. It did not do this yesterday. but the OSR2 does not move .
The wired Pico usb option with using Pico SLR/deoVr does the same things. So what raser1 said , im seeing here.
Any idea why it works still on my old PC?

Hey @Bucket619, the OSR can only connect to 1 app at a time. So make sure you turn off the TCode option in the SLR app if you are using JoyFunPlayer.

And the other way around, if you use the OSR with SLR App, then close JoyFunPlayer.

raser1 oh so indont need to open JFS and SLR??? 😱 i did not know that. ill trst again later today then all 4 options without opening JFS

Yes that's right, you don't need to use JoyFunPlayer for that anymore. The SLR app on PC supports OSR natively. Make sure you enable the 'TCode' option in the settings menu. After that you'll see an additional red/green status indicator

raser1 Yup ive seen that option and have enabled it when i used the PC SLR app on wired and wireless.
So earlier you mentioned that i wont be able to use OSR toy with the PICO SLR app then?
Was it always like that? ( i ask because ive ised my OSR toy with both versions of the SLR app and have had the OSR toy work about a week ago on my other PC)

raser1 So strange interaction with the Haptics connected green light indicator yesterday. I only tested Wireless and Wired USB PICO 4 SLR app and it would not connect/show green unless i opened up the Joyfunscript player on the desktop. Next i will test this with the Wireless and Wired desktop app without opening the Joyfunscript
