Why can't i stream videos on my headset with my web browser now?

There used to be a button next to setting option,i always click it to watch video.
But now it's gone.DeoVR is unusable to me , i have a htc vive pro 2, when i open DeoVR, it will only show me a sign of buffering,three dots rotating endlessly.There is audio though. I don't know what cause this and how to solve it.

That sounds like a codec issue.

druberoo Can you make sure you are using H265 for resolutions over 2160p
Do you have the same issue with downloaded SLR content?

If you do have this issue with downloaded content, can you right click on the video with the issue, and go to Open with > Movies & TV. Specifically this app! - Do you have the issue in this app?

He used to watch using the VR goggles button in the browser, which is gone with the new videoplayer

Not sure why people used that in the past as it was limited to low quality, maybe its the only way with his device?

yangbodyn it’s because a cheap headset for that format is 30 bucks instead of hundreds of dollars.

I agree with you, the experience is not at all the same and extremely sub-par
However these are paying members who get their access taken away without any warning at all, that is not good
