  • Is there a daily download limit on SLR?

slrp007 I have this too and I'm on 500mbps. While one downloads is active even checking screenshots or some of the photos on the website of the next scene I might want to get becomes extremely slow. Like you can watch the image slowly appear. Sometimes the speed of the download completely goes down when I do that too. There is definitely some extreme throttling on any multiple connections going on.

In addition when I try to download the bigger files (like some 90fps versions of 15GB+), via the browser (firefox) the download usually fails at some point. I've switched to using jDownloader for getting them as for some reason then it won't fail and it seems to be going at a bit faster and stable speed. I wonder if the browser tries to use too many connections or something odd like that.

This is not true. After having a lot of trouble downloading due to slow speeds, videos that the title displayed and the video ended and videos displaying side by side on my Quest, I got a popup that stated I reached my Service Level Agreement and would not be able to download more for 48 hours.

I bought access and put up with the poor download experience because at least I could retry as I read this response that downloads were unlimited.

The popup suggested I use the SLR viewer and browse online even though I am unable to get the viewer to load on the Quest.

    For what its worth.

Since I can't paste the popup in the post, here is the text.

    SLR Fair Use Policy
You may Download 30 videos in two days. Enjoy unlimited streaming with the SLR app and the DeoVR player(visit SexLikeReal.com in the built-in browser.) SLR streaming provides the same or better visual quality compared to downloads.
Your full allocation of 30 downloads becomes available again in 29h and 19min.

chucks4u NOW when you sign up, on the signup page, it says "SLR Fair Use policy: 30 downloads in 48 hours. Unlimited SLR app and DeoVR streaming."

As mentioned, there is a download limit that was introduced due to abuse, but we are working on relaxing this limitation for certain users (that have been with us for a long time, etc.)
The download speed is not limited, this is a separate issue, and we are looking into this.

      4 days later

james111 jDownloader has a way to monitor the clipboard for any download links, so if you just right-click on the download link of whatever version you want and then choose "copy link location" from the context menu it'll show up in jDownloader. You probably will want to change the filename a bit in jDownloader though.

Do keep in mind the download links will expire so don't bother adding a ton of links at once, only what you intend to download right away because after some time the links expire and you'd have to re-add them. I only use it for the larger files as it is a bit more work.

Aerowen For me it has never worked using that exact method - it always says it couldn't find anything to download.

Best I can do is a deep search on the page, and even then it just finds the trailer vids to download.

Its annoying as its my preferred downloader and I use it for all other websites, but no luck with SLR

james111 Weird. I just tried it again to make sure it still works and it did. If it helps, I'm using Firefox and don't use any jDownloader add-ons/extensions. Just manually copying the download link to clipboard like this: https://i.imgur.com/9B5h4uN.png. You need to have clipboard observer enabled on the toolbar in jDownloader, then it picks up the download link in the linkgrabber tab https://i.imgur.com/y5Qpf0y.png (It looks a little odd at the bottom that's just a cropped 2nd screenshot of the download in progress).

james111 Hmm I just remembered something that might also be causing an issue if you do get downloads to start. In jDownloader settings on the general tab, you can set some limits and I use this:

            • Maximum Simultaneous downloads per host [✔] = 1
            • Max. Chunks per Download = 1

Aerowen Exactly what I do (have even tried on a Mac and Linux to see if the OS was the problem - with no luck.

            Thanks for your help anyway

Next week we will be working on downloads. We plan to lift download limits for many users.

We have rose a limit to 50 scenes (unlimited video files for each scene) in 72h. Hope you guys enjoy

doublevr Hi, the unlimited for each scene within 72 hours does not work, I download a scene for psvr the quality was not great so tried to download again for psvr pro and it said you have reached your limit, why is this happening if its unlimited for the same same?

SamSuppVR How soon will I need to wait 34 hours and if I try to download again will it be part of the 50 limit ?

Redhulk50 This will probably be solved today, and the file you couldn't download should be part of the limit.

I receive the message "Your full allocation of 50 downloads becomes available again in -12h -30min."

The time only goes up, though I'm fairly certain it's been two days, at the very least it's not giving me the correct eta.
