  • Black Background Passthrough

Hey guys.
Tested out the black background instead of grey room and it seemed that the black background gives more immersion.
Since there's nothing to distract you from the model you only focus on the action.
Please check out the file attached and vote which one you liked most.

Alpha works same for both ways, it only a matter of preference for non passthrough viewers.
Will update with link to SLR labs soon

There's no point in adding CG if you continue to use these ridiculous suits for the guy.

That way it's literally impossible to watch the scene without PT. Forced AR mode.

Great to see you back LordCrash.
    Really missed you.
Can you elaborate please what is exactly a problem

LOL. We both know that this is not true.

Should be pretty obvious. Grey suits are there to mask the male's body so that I see my own body in PT. But without PT I don't see my own body, I still see the great suit. So I'm a guy wearing a ridiculous grey suit in the scene with some kind of CG background? Makes no sense to me, instant immersion killer.

I remember threads in which you told us that you use grey backgrounds now and alpha channels or whatever to make it possible to watch PT scenes without actually using PT. My impression was that CG was another step on that way but apparently it's now only meant for people using PT so that they don't have to see their shitty apartment but some cool other location, correct?
