Hi just to say I have this working on my smartphone with my Handy using the following steps. I had a few bugs along the way but got it working in the end:

  • Install Haptics Connect
  • Open Haptics Connect
  • Input Handy key in Settings tab
  • Set Enable Handy to On
  • Open Browser on your phone
  • Go to www.sexlikereal.com and login
  • Go to Account section > Profile > Connect SLR to HC app (if thus does not appear, make sure your browser is requesting the mobile rather than desktop site).
  • If this has worked, you will find a new tab has appeared in Haptics Connect called Player and you will see your account name appear. I see an error message “Player is not found on the connected network” but it doesn’t see to affect anything.
  • Find a scripted video you would like to watch and click on "Video + Haptics" button (I’m not sure this ever worked for me, I think I just copied the URL into the browser in the Haptics Connect app.)
  • In the Browser tab, press the play icon and the video should play with the Handy or other toy synced.
  • If it doesn’t, go to the Settings tab, select reset app and re input the Handy key.

    I also got this working on my IPad but whereas on the iPhone when you press play the video maximises to fill the screen, that doesn’t happen on the iPad so the image is tiny. I’m not sure whether tablets are expected to be supported at this stage?

      JMO77 Hello, we did not intend for it to work on iPad in first iteration.

          JMO77 You don't need to do this step:

          That's for getting it work with VR app.

            I just made an account on the forum for this. I've been a premium user of SLR for a little while now, though.

            So the new update caught me off guard. VR headset on the head and already inserted kind of off guard :/

            Edit: Nevermind, I tried my normal browser and it seems to have linked. I'll test later today to see if everything works as it did though.

            So the only real issue I should've reported to you was this one:

            "When HC updated, the player tab disappeared. From DeoVR's perspective it was still paired but the toy was unresponsive.

            When I tried to pair via HC's browser tab and going to my profile on SLR, I got an error."

            Solution found - Using the chrome browser of my android phone allowed me to pair the device again. HC works as it did before the update now for me.

              VeiledPrivateer There is a lot to unpack.
              Maybe you are missing the point, if you want to use HC with your headset, then nothing changed, you have to follow the same workflow as before.

              Now if you want to watch videos on you smartphone and sync your toys, then please read the original post again. Since you already have HC and Toy paired, all you need to do is to open mobile browser (chrome, safari, firefox...), go to SLR, login, find scripted video, and press the button as shown in the 1st post.

                VeiledPrivateer I am glad it works now, could you please help me understand the initial problem? Why did you go to your profile and try to connect HC to SLR again? Was the "Player" tab missing in HC?

                    Sandi_SLR Yes, it was missing and the videos I played (local or from SLR, tried both) were unresponsive, hence my confusion. As if my SLR account and app were never paired even though in DeoVR it appeared as green.

                    The app's browser giving me an error only exacerbated my confusion, my bad.
                    But when I used my mobile's chrome browser to go on SLR and press the button to pair with the app, it seems to have worked and has brought back the player tab.

                    That said, I'm going to check if everything works as intended after work and update my message to not induce more confusion.

                            Sandi_SLR That happened also to me. After I updated HC App in Google Play Store the player tab was gone and I had to link it via deep link on SLR page again. I also first tried this on HC apps browser but gave me same error not recognising deep link. With google chrome on smartphone it worked.

                              Hi I have the same problem since latest HC update. Using DeoVR app on mobile phone, it won't sync anymore with HC app. HC app connects to my Keon, but no reaction when playing an SLR video. Also "player" tag is mssing...

                                    Sandi_SLR Ok thank you, for the iPhone it works well and if it could be full screen on the iPad with time that would be ideal. I’m between VR headsets at the moment, waiting for the Quest 3 so it’s nice to have the 2d option.

                                      I'm not sure how this works, considering the VR option disappeared on smartphones at the last update. I mean, I tried finding the DeoVR app, but it doesn't seem to be available on neither Android/Google Play , nor iOS. I know it was ,tho, like two years back. What am I missing?

                                        Mike451 We extended it so you can watch porn on your phone and have haptics sync to the video.
                                        Nothing to do with VR this time.

                                          Well so bad news, DeoVR app is pretty good for experience, with ability to scroll videos directly in 3D mode, control with a bluetooth pad, etc.
                                          Do you have a good alternate app, or planning to put it back again ?
