Why can’t SLR dial in their video quality? I mean let’s be honest it’s been on a relative decline for a while compared to other major studios, but these 8K videos are 1 step forward and 2 steps back. The content for the last 3 videos released in 8K has also been pretty uninspired so I'm hopefully they are still tweaking things.
For me on my quest 2 (downloading the normal option, not the stupid huge files) the overall quality from a distance is clearer, but the face and vagina closeups are not focused, and completely unacceptable for quality VR content from a major studio. Also NO the answer is not to remove closeups, closeups are the main reason I watch VR in the first place. In additional the colors are unnatural and need a lot of work on stock quest 2 profile. I haven't tried messing with adjusting too much but I never need to with other quality content.
In the early days both LethalHardcoreVR and Naughtyamerica had the same issue with closeup focus on their 8K but they seems to have worked it out. Actually pretty recently LethalHardcoreVR has dramatically improved the focus on their closeups, I hope SLR can look into what they did because its pretty great now.
I'm rooting for SLR, and I've been a supporter for awhile but its really frustrating to see they are unable to match the quality of even some of the filler content on their site. Here are just a few studios that I consider to have better video quality WankzVR/POVR - AMAZING and 7K!, VRbangers, VRCONK, VRHUSH, RealjamVR, WETVR, LethalHardcoreVR, VRAllure, Deepinsex, Badoink- also better quality but too grainy over sharpened.
