Anyone else notice this? They just use the option in their video editor that averages out two frames to make a third, leaving a full ghost image of the previous frame behind. Not even using something like "Adobe Optical Flow" that attempts to generate believable intermediate frames.
In the last year, there are a few AI based frame interpolation methods that produce output that's basically indistinguishable from native 60fps video, barring sequences with extremely fast movement. The Apollo model for "Video AI" is one of them.
Anyone who is selling 30fps content as 60fps content should be using better frame interpolation.
