• SLR App WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) controls broken

I've been using the SLR app for a while and usually worked just fine with WMR controllers, but im not sure what happened, I think the recent update broke it.

The app launches and I can point at things, but I can't click on anything

Interestingly I have the exact same problem in DeoVR

Not sure what is common between SLR and Deo, they both have very similar interface

Which device/headset are you using? Have you tried reinstalling the app?

SamSuppVR Acer WMR, yep, tried reinstalling SLR, reinstalled Steam VR, reinstalled the WMR SteamVR plugin

Ok, so SLR uses DeoVR, and I noticed DeoVR was having the same exact problem as SLR.

I found where DeoVR stores button configs, they were in the registry under HKCU/Software/DeoVR. I deleted the keys and I now have the trigger button working again, which is great.

Then I tried to customize my controls again and found that only the trigger button and the thumbstick were being registered. The touchpad and the grip button were not working at all. I tried playing around with controller configs through SteamVR controller bindings, like changing the touchpad button to use TriggerButton, but that still doesn't work (looks like TriggerAxis is what works)

So... yeah, WMR controls are currently screwed in SLR/DeoVR, hoping one of the devs sees this and can provide an update

    Thanks

Did you try setting the controls in the SLR app (menu, cog on the upper right > Customize controls)? Could you also provide a screenshot of Customize controls_

Another thing that you can try is reinstalling the app again, and when installing SLR freshly you can also run the app with command -resetprefs like on this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/gFt1wR3. Apply and run the app. You can later delete this command.
