Really incredible work! Waiting on parts for my osr2 in the mail to try this out.

Can someone clarify though... Assume you're streaming a video, you have premium membership with the unlimited script streaming, and that video has multiple scripts. How do we pick the script we want to play with the video?
For example, how can we make sure the multi-axis one plays instead of the single-axis?

Or is the only way to force selection of a script to download it locally along with the video and use it in offline mode?

I don't see a script selection option in deoVR, but it could also be I don't know where to look πŸ™‚. I saw other folks asking about this in one of the video comments, so would be useful to know.

@RealcumberScripts @doublevr

netcat - In the player UI when playing a video, click settings -> there should be a drop down menu to choose from on the right side of the under haptics settings

@RealcumberScripts Thanks for the quick reply! Maybe I'm blind though, but I still don't see it. Here's what shows up for me under haptics:

netcat not the main settings - you want to check the quick settings option on the popup when playing the video that opens a panel to the right for additional options

        RealcumberScripts
Ahh, I see where it is now. I didn't even know that quick setting menu existed. Thank you so much!!!

For anyone else that has this question in the future, here are the screenshots to show where it's at.

Will JoyFunPlayer pick up on the multi axis script?

In regards to "Can't wait OSR2 WiFi support coming soon form @Tempest."

Does "WiFi support mean" it'll work like what I'm doing now? I connect to JoyFunPlayer then log into SLR on the app and that connects to SLR/haptics and it sends the script to JFP. Then I can use my headset independent of it being connected to my computer.

I wish something like that existed for multi axis script connection rather than having to connect my headset to the computer

        8 days later

Following up on the above, my OSR2+ is assembled with pitch and roll, and I played around with the first three multi-axis scripts last night. Once I have twist working as well, I'll report back with an update. Here are my thoughts on multi-axis so far.
This is really well done, really incredible work to all the folks that put this together ( @doublevr and everyone else). Everything connected smoothly, and the controls were intuitive (now that I know about the quick settings menu). Having the sliders to adjust the range of motion was very useful, as the OSR2 has very long stroke lengths.
Overall, very immersive experience. Playing between these multi-axis scripts, and the single-axis ones, the difference is night and day. They feel so much more real.
If anyone is reading this wondering whether it's worth switching from your single axis device to a multi one - it really is.

The one suggestion that came to mind, would it be possible to have some kind of multi-axis interpolation enabled for single axis scripts (based on scaling against the primary axis)? I know MFP does something like this.

Only one issue I ran into:
This one did not work. Single axis version worked, multi-axis did nothing.

Any idea when we might expect more multi axis content?

Question just purchased the SR6 can you use this toy with an Oculus or a virtual headset how do you go about connecting the device up to a virtual headset

stephan0795 I bought a sr6 months ago and planned on using it with downloaded videos. At the time I had a Pimax 8kx. Shortly after buying the sr6 my Pimax broke. So I never got the sr6 up and running. I did try for a couple of days but I could never get it to connect. I now have a Quest 3 and just stream at the moment.
If you figure it all out, can I direct message you on here with a couple? I still need to figure out how to get videos on my PC to play on my Quest 3.

          @rerun119 @sloan1919
First of all congrats on your SR6's! They are very good devices, once set up, you won't be dissapointed.
What are the issues you're running into? Is it your computer just fails to recognize the SR6? (if so you may be missing the esp32 driver), Read on below to make sure you have everything set up. You can use MOSA to test your device is working (https://trymosa.netlify.app/)

          A quick TLDR for background....
To use osr2 or SR6 with SLR on quest 2/3, you'll need to do this via quest link (use a cable, not wifi). It took a bit of work to set up initially, but overall not too bad.
I listed the tools I use below.

          Required Software:

          1. Meta Quest Link
          2. DeoVR (installed on your computer via quest link)
          3. HVEC 265 codec for playback (can install this from microsoft store)
          4. ESP32 driver. This one depends on the specific one installed in your SR6/OSR2. Your seller should have provided you this info. Mine was this one [https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads]. but yours could be different.

          Recommended, but optional

          1. Oculus Tray tool. Can be used to tinker with video playback settings and get better quality
          2. MFP Patreon version (paid). Enables adding random movement to non-scripted axis. https://www.patreon.com/posts/multifunplayer-2-81754251.
The free MFP version can still be useful for diagnosing connection issues with the SR6/OSR2, but does not do interpolation.

          Once everything is installed:

          1. Connect the SR6/OSR2 to the computer. Connect the Quest 2/3 to the computer via cable.
          2. Launch Oculus tray tool (optional).
          3. Launch MFP (optional)
          4. Turn on quest link on your headset.
          5. In DEOVR, navigate to the SLR app.
          6. If you are not using MFP, open settings, and enable TCODE in haptics section.
          7. Launch any video that supports scripts. Your OSR2/SR6 should start operating.
8... You'll still need to do some fine-tuning with the timing offsets, but this should get your device operating πŸ™‚

Having operated an OSR2 for nearly a year now... it's a game changer. I do wish I went with an SR6 instead looking back though - it was just a little pricy for me.

Oh, one more thing, strongly recommend setting your device up with an onahole adapter paired with a Venus Real Soft, or ZXY. In terms of realism, a fleshlight doesn't even come close to these.

netcat Thanks for this long reply.
I got my SR6 about 6 months ago and could not get the computer to talk with it. I can't even remember what exactly was the problem now.
At the time I had a Pimax 8kx and played a lot of videos from the computer with scripts. The Pimax broke so I had to get the old Quest 2 out and then bought a Quest 3. When it broke I gave up for the time being. I still haven't got back the streaming videos from the computer to the Quest 3 yet. So I need to figure that out first. I am really bad at computers. Everything I do know about them is from trying to power through and slowly figure it out so I can watch VR porn.
I will try to figure out streaming from my computer and then trying to get the SR6 set up again this weekend.
If and when I run into problems do you think you can kindly help me if I have a question?
            Thanks

rerun119 Certainly! I check back on here every few days depending how busy life is. Tag me or DM me and I'll get back to you.
6 months of the SR6 just sitting there... gotta get that set up. You're missing out!

Hello, I have some multi-axis scripts to upload, but I need a tool to merge them into one file. I’ve already uploaded and published the single-axis version and have contacted support at scripts@sexlikereal.com, but I haven’t received a response yet. Could you help me?
              Many thanks

Ragnar_VR i think there is a little app that does this for you, if you are in the SLR discord you could ask realcumber if he has it or can contact the guy who has it
