Unsupported video error and nothing playing

I have no idea if it's because of the latest update (V7.0) with the oculus quest or not but been trying to get the SLR app working (sideloading through SideQuest).

I can click it and the app opens but I can't view anything. I get unsupported video error and none of the thumbnails works (if I try to click on the free section it doesn't even load and gives a big error about not being able to load thumbnails). None of the videos play and none of the thumbnails works.

same problem here. using oculus rift and the SLR desktop app. Downloading videos won't work either and thumbnails do not display for the most recent +- 15 scenes

i just tested using SLR using a vpn, and it worked instantly. this is strange.

I had the same problem with same ISP. Fixed it by switching to Googles dns servers

The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
The Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses are as follows:

2001:4860:4860::8888
2001:4860:4860::8844

Bishop hey Bishop! Same telenet provider in Belgium. Would be nice if it could come pre fixed without having to change dns things ourselves. No idea if that’s gonna be possible or not...
Did you change it in the router or on the oculus quest?

Hi bishop, changing to the google DNS-servers worked, although i have added manual entries in the past (some open-dns servers like google dns) so i didn't even use the standard dns. Thanks for the solution.

not sure if it works the same way on the oculus quest, i have no experience with anything other than my rift, which only connects to pc.

Philip it worked partially 😃!
I can now watch the premium videos(atleast the samples and I guess i can buy them but I still get the thumbnail error if I want to check out the free videos... anything I can do for that?

I changed my routers dns settings to the ones from google so thats why I can watch the videos but no idea about the free videos not being able to selected?

unfortunately i cannot help you with that, maybe you can try to reinstall the app on your oculus?
