One thing I hate is when meta shows off its features in a commercial and it's not accurate

This from a commercial a guy looking through in pass through in low light and you notice no grain

I've seen reviews already it's look grainy in low light, not as bad as pico 4 tho.

Also they show hands in front of virtual objects, but that's not coming till December I heard, SMH but should be at launch.

They be false advertising, 😒

spanker finally someone on youtube admitting this headset will be used for porn, at least by anyone 18+. I don't see any other use for it. Wondering if Meta prohibit their youtube reviewers from even mentioning porn. Or do they really believe the stuff they show in the reviews is fun? The games just look awfully boring.
But for porn, I'd get the Q3 for sure. Too bad I already own Pico 4, I'll have to spend more on Pimax 8KX instead 🙂

      Hey @Vrsumo2017 , are you going to post a video or some pics of some hotties in passthrough on your Q3 and the same on your Pico 4, so we can get a good comparison and see what we've all been waiting for?

        Any small sensor camera is going to suffer in low light, so if you want to avoid grain in passthrough, light up your space. Tracking already needs light with Quest 1 and 2 so no different really. Hopefully we don't need floodlights, just normal room lighting, but not mood lighting.

        But from what I'm watching the pass through looks better and one good reason I'd be getting a quest 3 is cause the scale size of your environment is accurate unlike pico 4 your environment looks slightly bigger then normal.

        Quest 3 will be a good upgrade, better pt, better scale size and back to a strap for me 👍

              Definitely worth the up grade, and it looks like it works way faster loading up and loading games

                airbender I will let you know tomorrow but not just for PT, I'm expecting that all VR is going to be sharper. Will let you know just how much once I test tomorrow.

                I generally use my Quest2 for VR porn and watching Netflix/Prime etc which I love as it feels like you are in a cinema.

                I plan to use my quest 3 for games and learning how to play the piano with the PT capability
