I'm no scholar of languages, but this collocation of "dual" and "4-megapixels" means two cameras at 4 megapixels. Clearly from the specs they meant dual 2-megapixel cameras for 4K video.

[deleted] man sum reviewers say its a lil heavier but more comfortable cuz it's slimmer 🤷‍♂️

And others say it's lighter. 🤦‍♂️

    Hurto11 is it perfect? of course not,

    Oh it'll never be perfect, if they gave us the perfect headset there wouldn't be any money in that, cuz we'd buy the perfect headset and never buy another again, unless it breaks.

      i think i could work with it...buy them for CAM girls and let them make very simple slow/still-type clips...FEET could be a start...maybe simulated HJ...would get them started into the SPACE and hopefully find that they could make some money...investing in REAL camera

        as long as close up don't get distorted, can't be having none of that, noooo. But they talking about real life objects, so if you plan on filming your sex life in pov keep away from close ups, lol

          Mistakes
          40% lighter --> 40% thinner (Q3 is heavier than Q2)
          10x resolution --> 30% better resolution (maybe more considering double panels and PPI)
          100% boost in processing --> No way. QS XR2 G2 offers a performance boost, but not 100%
          Preorder deals --> Nope, as most of us know, that deal is only for the 512 GB model, and the "free stuff" is from Meta, not BestBuy.

              Unhigenic Brad was right, the depth sensor significantly improves the image quality!

              Those vivid colors are impressive! How do these new LCD panels compare to OLED for contrast ratio and nits?

                Manny_S still some kinda warping tho, right?

                When you move your hands in q3 you can see the grass kinda warps a Lil.

                But picture wise it does look better

                What it look like in a dim lit room?
                Like, just a lamp on.

                    Very weird meta invited all these adults to review the quest 3, they all look in their late 20s early 30s.

                    Lol you saw no teens or kids trying it out, just kinda strange to me.

                      Vrsumo2017 honestly I feel like that’s the main demographic that’s gonna be buying this..20, 30s, early 40s. The games that are out there don’t really lend themselves to kids imo. Obviously there are a bunch that do, but overall I just don’t see young kids having the attention span or patentixe to keep this thing strapped to their head for hours and have the restraint not to just run around and get hurt with it. Also it’s kind of a lot of money when you could just buy your kids an Xbox or somethjng for similar price and they’d get way more use out of that.

                          you are correct but the actual headset on its own is actually lighter than the Quest 2, it just becomes heavier when you put that detachable material, plasticky fascia bit in that rests on your forehead and cheeks - I dunno what that bit is called. I saw a guy on YouTube weighing it with and without that extra fascia bit. @Vrsumo2017 is right though, pretty much every reviewer is saying that it doesn't feel as heavy as the Quest 2 as the centre of gravity is closer to your face on the Quest 3

                          I am going to see if I can cancel my Q3 128 gb and buy the Q3 512gb and still get it on the 10th. EDIT - getting a temporarily out of stock message 🙁
