Scenes used to have their actual release dates given )i.e. May 12m 2023) but now every release date has been removed and replaced by "3 days ago" or some other such inexact description. Why is the date of release on SLR no longer provided?
What happened to release dates?

doublevr its been suggested before to have a tooltip with the absolute date when clicking on or hovering over the relative date... but slr ignored that
I love the new format

spacepirate They pretty much ignore all the good suggestions.
I don't know what's more user friendly here anyway. Are people too stupid to know (or look up) the current date these days? Exchanging a precise information with a much less precise one without any acutal need is simply stupid.
doublevr Not so user-friendly is that when new videos are being released the videos from the day before still carry the label 'today'.
And if videos are time-tagged '3 years ago', you can't even tell anymore if they were released in 2020 or 2019. But of course, the world will keep turning without this information...
doublevr You say we don't represent the majority of user. I agree that the people that actually write in here is a very small amount of people but how do you know that all the other people like it the way SLR made it now?
I don't like it when it says 3 years old. That is a huge range. Why wouldn't someone rather see something like 8/10/2020. Isn't that easy for everybody to understand? Although I think with SLR way of measuring 8/10/2020 would say "2 year old" but to me that is a little miss leading because it is closer to 3 year ago.
It's not the end of the world but it was better the way it used to be
reminder that there is a solution that would make everybody happy
spacepirate Perfect idea. Please implement this doublevr
