Yeah I can’t see anyone like vrbanger, wankzvr, czechvr etc joining as part of premium (although I did spot a vr intimacy vid from Czech vrs new intimacy range). They are all too big with several hundred videos each and each costing nearly as much as an SLR subscription. I would like to see them on SLR connect tho, and I can’t see why they wouldn’t want to be.
I signed up to virtualtaboo tho and their library is much more limited than the others mentioned and is definitely one I won’t be renewing. Their quality ain’t bad, and they present themselves as being something similar to vr fetish but it’s really not, it’s all relatively vanilla and the only “fetish/taboo” they seem to cater to for some reason is step family incest stuff. Some of the girls are hot, but most have other men in them too so there’s cocks everywhere and group sex scenes like that just feel kinda awkward unless ur into that. Anyhow, that aside they have a much smaller library and a much more spread out release schedule, so seems like they might be more open.
That aside, I’d love to see some of the smaller studios content, such as 18vr, their stuff is great but they have nowhere near enough content to justify a standalone subscription.
Xvirtual could be interesting, their stuff is pretty out there and somewhat niche, the sort of thing that would be interesting to see but likely not subscribe to, especially given they literally only seem to have a dozen or so videos.
Kinkvr would be great too, they also suffer from a limited library and release schedule, and the limited library they do have seems to try to cover a lot of very different things that likely have limited cross appeal, ie they mix in gay content, they have submissive content and dominant content, so if ur a straight male who isn’t into being whipped or humiliated they have only a limited selection that would appeal and thus not warrant a standalone subscription.
It would be great to see some stuff from vrcosplay on slr too, they do seem to have their stuff included in vrporn premium, so unless they are in an exclusive deal with them it would suggest they are open to it. And their stuff looks much better than the odd looking cosplay from the cosplay studio slr have who need to upgrade their kit and technique.
Actually making your own content from scratch may be a bit overkill for SLR given they seem more a “tech” company than a production company, but I’d love to see some dedicated partnerships to help bring long established 2D studios into the fold. Perhaps evilangel or tiny4K, offering them technical support and helping them to get set up, maybe even part financing some jointly created content with them in return for some timed exclusivity etc.
Sadly a couple of the “premium” studios who seem to release the most content on SLR such as perVRt, or the cosplay one i forget the name of sound good in principal and have interesting looking preview tiles, but the quality of their filming and their technique is practically unwatchable. PerVRt literally just seem to strap a 360 go pro to a guys head and think “that’ll do”.
I also wish that some of the lower quality studios would just stop using 360 rigs, there is no point, no one is turning around to face behind them whilst watching porn, it just wastes pixels and means your end up with shit resolution in the 180 degrees you are actually watching. I would hope SLR is telling these studios this, or maybe they can even offer some more direct support such as helping to upgrade or set up optimum equipment. Absolutely the best in class for equipment, lighting and filming technique is czechVr, but vrsexperts are catching up. If some of the weaker partners of SLR could learn from them and improve their content then the need to add some of the high end studios would diminish.
