I've created a very rough mockup of a casting summary page that pulls the 1st post from each casting thread. The tags are still displayed for SLR to keep us informed of the booking status and the individual casting threads for each performer are still there for those who'd like a more elaborate discussion.
This allows the best of both worlds. We'll no longer need to go in and out of hundreds of threads to see who each performer is or how popular she is, and at the same time we're still able to discuss each performer at length by clicking through to their casting thread.
