Other thoughts and tips: I received my Pico 4 about two weeks ago and am now obsessed with pass-through (PT) videos. For me, even though the quality of the videos seems reduced in pass-through mode, the immersion is mind blowing. I've been using self hypnosis for over a decade to increase immersion when watching POV porn--yes, even before we had VR (I could write a small book about the monitors and how I set them up)--so I've developed a very keen phantom sense ability over the years.

And now with PT, it is mindblowing next level, amaza-balls! With a little of my favorite relaxing substance, some of the videos feel at least 90% real, without using funscripts.

For me, the best ones are those with a solid color background that were filmed with PT in mind, where the performers have lighter-colored hair., and the stunt dick is laying down.

Here's one thing that I've experienced that kicks the immersion up a notch: I hang a light weight black blanket across the sofa I am laying on, where the bottom just touches the sofa, and the top is about 2-3 feet over the seating area of the sofa. I double it over so that both ends of the blanket hang down. My legs go on the far side of the blanket, and my dick is between the folded layers.

Then I adjust the video zoom and so forth as best I can so that the stunt dick is just about where the blanket is hanging, and just so the guys body is almost at the level of my sofa. I put a couple of pillows under my head.

So, essentially, when I'm watching the PT videos, I don't see my dick, but the stunt dick is in the same place approximately where my dick is. I see my upper body and most of my room, but the lower body of the stunt dick performer, plus whatever the girl is doing.

What really brings this way up over the top is having my dick between the two layers of the blanket.

That's because, over the years of developing phantom sense and using self hypnosis, my body has trained itself to twitch my dick automatically in rhythm to the action in the video (Kegel exercises help, too). As it twitches, it bumps up against the blankets and the feelings match what I would really experience in real life (almost)

Like I said, I've become obsessed with this now. It is addicting. Maybe dangerous to one's career.

Okay, anybody with any other helpful thoughts or techniques? I would love to hear them.

    Biggest requests would be:

    1. hide as much of the guys body as possible. Just the dick is all that's needed. Any passthrough video where the guy is using his hands is a waste.

    2. Edging or joi style videos.

    3. Fan style passthrough scenes similar to tonights girlfriend where the "fan" hires their fave star for a 1 night experience.

            I also have phantom sense but it only works for 3D game objects so far. For 2D/3D videos I use a latex and turn it into a butt fifi and add moisture to it then fuck it

            idk why but i figure out how to turn pico 4 into black/white in android settings and it all feels so much better for me than the color which is sadly still bad and you just notice the colors difference and that it just dont match all with your room and rly hard depend on how much light is in your room...so the passthrough works better.

            with black/white mode your mind dont care about such color differences and details and that why i still prefer the black/white mode passthrough here.

            good that such setting exist in android and for pico 4 and you can any time turn your color passthrough into black white like it was on quest 2 and even this black/white mode still looks better than on quest 2...

            but sadly if you record...then the output mp4 video file will be still in color and not black/white...

            the best on passthrough is...you can create your own porn scene in your room and house and everywhere and record it all.
            after you can watch it on your pc or tv and it rly looks like this all porn scene is in your room xD.

            i played alot around with this and the results are amazing...
            that just become my new fetish...

            and then you can add some good deepfake to the clip and this all just gets more mind blowing...

            you can have sex with anyone you imagine in your room and create your own porn scenes and record and after watch it all and enjoy your work on pc or tv... xD

            hope im not the only guy who figure out such fetish and what all possible with passthrough...xD

            but i think that such fetish is what makes passthrough rly great at this moment and shows what are possible...

            in future it all probably will be more better and immersive and more easy for users to do and create whatever they want and wish...

                  mebejoe you need to download android settings tool apk for pico 4 and after look inside that app in systems for developer mode and options...

                  almost same like on smartphones where you can access developer mode and options.

                  maybe you need to activate it first by tap 7 or 8 on build number but inside that app...and after you gonna see the developers options.

                  in developers tab you then can find an option where you can change color to black/white and more...for people that have color blindness.

                  after this your passthrough and even your pico 4 apps and all gonna be in black/white.

                    The pico 4 is good but idk if it's my pass-through or my lighting but other pico 4 pass through on YouTube be looking more clearer then mine, 🤔

                    And i really can't put the light to low or else it looks black and grainy, also I can see like these red grainy spots the darker it gets. Also if I look at my phone I see static lines going down, I seen a YouTube user looking at his phone threw pass-through but he had no static lines at all. 🤷‍♂️

                    But I was hoping to use have my Bluetooth light I use and set it to different colors. Example....put it on red and then I was gonna put the picture setting to make the models look red-ish. But I put my red light on and the pt was to dark, it just looked dark red and grainy, I was pissed 😤

                    I might need a brighter light tho, cuz the closer I got to the light bulb with the pass-through it looks clear.

                    I almost returned it in the beginning, but one pico 4 user said his was the same way, dark and grainy with less light. So just kept it 🤷‍♂️

                    Quest 2 pt is black and Grey but I could have on just my PC monitor on in my room and turn the brightness down on the models and it looks like you having 3am morning wake up sex. I can't do that with the pico, it has to much grain the darker your room is.

                    But I still enjoy it tho, the fov is noticeably bigger then q2, and the lenses looks clearer too, but with its pt I haven't had as much fun with it like i was having with the q2 pt. I'm hoping q3 works out great with its color pass-through. 👍

                          You ghost your image, pull the fall off more to the left to get a see through look? I do it off and on, like I'll ghost it for a few mins then back to soiled, back and forth.

                          But man! Ghosting it in a laying cg rcg position when you ghost it your body kinda blends in with the male models body and while your laying there naked you see how her body lays on top if yours, plus spreading your knees out also gives it a visual like she sitting on your own lap.

                            I think I got to a point where I watched so much of it I got pt fatigued, I found my self just watching files from my computer with out pt, and then I'd watch sum slr with no pt, lol might of had pt over load, but man it never fails, I always come across a video that was just to hot in pass-through my excitement for pt goes right back up as it did the very first time using pt.
