Hi not sure what's going on but since the last app update most of my downloaded videos won't play anymore, it says I might be missing hevc codec (I am not) they all work fine in other video players still and I have been through reinstalling codecs and still nothing. I don't know why this would just be me though it seems.

    Switch that ON and check if it works.

        Sandi_SLR I cant see 'alternative play' option anywhere. I have 'Switch Playback engine' and 'Direct show'. I have tried every combination of these on/off and still no luck. Cheers

            I have exactly the same problem - tbh that happens all the time when you guys update the app. Also i have updated all those drivers yesterday: HEVC, LAV - just about everything and it still doesn't work, Switching the playback engine does absolutely nothing. I always dread the update days on SLR, usually the app is done after an update. Seems a clear case of: do not update if it's not broken...

            Also a lot of people complain about that exact issue on the oculus store. Basically half the comments are about it not working after an update..

            Any ideas how i can get the app back to play slr videos again? For examples you can use any VR Edging scene in 4k to see the error, in fact not a single of my downloaded videos is running on the DeoVR app.

              Okay, just tested those videos on other players - no problem, only the deovr is unable to play those videos. Also everything worked fine before the update. I watched a video in deovr, then it updated and said it was missing the HEVC/LAV codecs lol.
