  • I'm ordering a Meta Quest Pro this week

Brexittttt Hi, I'm ordering one quest pro too. It arrives in a week. Do i need to buy the Oculus link to Transfer videos from My PC to the quest pro? 🤔

I believe any usb cable will work.

As @doublevr said though, streaming via DLNA is much more convenient. You have your entire library to choose from.

      I have a quest 1 and software is starting to break - so thanks for this review - I might get one when they make the next $500 cut ! :-)

      Q1 also 🙂 ....waiting for the q3 or apple....looks like q3 though as apple keeps delaying

      looking for that 2 generation or more improvement for a wow factor....hope it's all within 6months though.

      think if the depth sensor was in the pro...i would have been interested and 1000 bucks plus would be fine.

        spanker what does the depth sensor do for watching scenes? i only have the Htc Vive and not the Pro so im looking to get the Quest 3 if itll have passthrough as well in color 🤗

          Double didn't mean streaming through DLNA, he meant streaming from the site, he would never and has never advocated anything that involved any form of downloading and has actively slated the practice and the people that do it.

            i really hate my HTC Vive…. its always doing thisndumb jittering thing and i lt doest pick up my headset signal yet it turns on …. really want to pull trigger on Quest Pro but man that Quest 3 …😭

            DevAnimate if you're doing it for the passthrough don't bother. I returned mine and bought a pico 4. Way better passthrough. I'm assuming the Quest 3 will be even better.

              i give all my friends/family the offer of a paying 250bucks of the Q2 headset...so we have shit to talk about...i use it for watching all kinds of stuff...youtube music, prime/netflix

              one gave me a text yesterday he wants one now. BUT now? might not be the best time. probably needs to wait 6months on the q3. IF he wants to do his own research....have at it

                spanker lol i hide mines because i have nothing to play other than the Rick and Morty game but cant play properly due to no space and i use it for porn so yea i hide it from family and any friends that catch a glimpse of it by chance

                      I bought a Quest 2 in May 2021 and only started started using it in December 2022 LOL. I like it a lot although the lenses could be better.
                      Not getting getting the Pro, I'm not going to pay that kind of money for a VR headset. So I'll probably get the Quest 3 when its released.

                      Notice that on ebay quest pro's new and used were selling for around $750 to $850. Just make sure you buy from someone with a good selling history.

                      My vive finally tapped out, i am also contemplating now to get a Pro despite planning for the Quest 3… 😔
