Okay folks, this is serious - No Alcohol, No drugs, No Nonconsensual
Sperson Your JAV suggestion would require SLR getting a local Japanese biller, but said biller would probably reject the site if the usage is going to be mainly foreign cards because the site would have to comply with global rules. As I noted above, statistically if certain JAV was removed, it will probably be content not many are watching, not the popular releases.
petermc Some billers use global crawlers to locate non-compliant terms plus random compliance checks (logging in, accessing random movies, etc.). You are right that they can't patrol for everything and they don't. A legit site like SLR though will always err on the side of caution to avoid any potential issues rather than keep trying to push the envelope to suddenly discover no processing ability one day.
ZENRA sorry, I may not have asked the question clearly. I wasn’t suggesting anything, I was asking if data was segregated in regional subsidiaries would that be sufficient for regional payment processors. Similar to hosting all EU customer data in EU to be GDPR compliant but rest of the world can operate normally hosted in other regions.
Either way sounds like you answered that it still wouldn’t work.
PS. Did someone delete the original question?
Sperson I see, but yes, it won't work. Visa/MC rules are global. My theory as to why JAV can do what it does is because JCB owns the nationwide processing network. No other way to really explain how they can produce and easily sell content that would receive anti compliance ban hammers right away elsewhere.
petermc Sir just doesn’t hit in the same way. It works similarly I suppose in a sub/dom scenario but when you’re wanting to watch incest storylines in porn, it’s not the same.
Sure, but "step" doesn't hit the same either, and apparently any daddy talk is going to get banned eventually. Any other ideas?

Polar That can happen, the scene just needs to be presented as being a sugardaddy or sugarmommy scenario instead.
Not sure why it shouldn't be allowed to use "daddy" also in step-scenes if the step-relation is properly presented before it's used for the first time. All the big players, e.g. Teamskeet, do that. No need to censor even more things than actually required by these fucking assholes at the credit card companies.
BML5768 not really no, I’m just saying “Sir” is not the answer. Some people can live with “Stepdaddy” but, for me personally (and this is only my opinion), if it’s going to be “Step” all way through the scene, it does nothing for me. I’d rather they just abandon it altogether and come up with different scenarios. It’s not just for step parents either. I don’t want to hear “stepbro” and “stepsis” through the whole scene or “stepson/stepdaughter”. Once you’ve clearly established at the beginning of the scene that the characters are only step related, I don’t see why you can’t drop the step during sex as the participants get more turned on by the taboo nature of what they’re doing.
Wait, even daddy is not acceptable anymore?

country is fucked up
It's not the country, it's mostly Mastercard.
Wait, even daddy is not acceptable anymore?
Not for Mastercard.
Sigh. Sadly, I understand why MC and Visa do this. If they are seen to be facilitating people paying for something that the media have taken against as a cause celebre, whether it's the (obviously and rightly) illegal underage stuff that was sneaking onto PH and OF, or just the general vile debauchery that we all like but certain groups that make it their business to try to control what others can see and do go out of their way to campaign about, then they get massive negative PR and maybe sued. Censorship compliance is damage control. The deliberately vague provisio about 'brand damage' is so they can clamp down on new things that have raised the hackles of our various moral guardians before they get hauled over the coals in the media. Imagine if someone watched lots of stepmom porn and then sexually assaulted their actual stepmom and this got into the news... suddenly all step porn is brand-damaging and must be removed.
This puts the banks, payment processors, and sites like SLR into a difficult position, where you can't know in advance what will become verboten, so you either play it super, super safe (like the banks do) or you risk it and then delete all the offending content as soon as it's hinted that MC/Visa is unhappy with some new category of filth.
It isn't 'just the US', of course, but it doesn't help that the US has a comparatively more puritanical outlook on this sort of thing than Europe, because MC/Visa are based in the US and have to answer to the US media, but their policies are global. Maybe our German friends could start a campaign to get their media to make a big deal out of how US companies are denying Germans their perfectly legal smut and see if it works in reverse. But I don't think it will.
My advice, go find all the pervy stuff you want on the clip sites etc and get it now, while you still can. The way this is going I'll be surprised if vanilla porn is even still allowed in a few years, legal or not.
Meh. The world is going to shit and I can't even say 'shit' on half of the internet these days.
Murica moment. What the hell happened to you, guys
No Alcohol is insane. Not SLRs fault. Let's face it, you can almost here the credit card companies laughing while making up these random rules. Talk about power mad.
petermc It’s a shame how these fucked up right wing zealots running America ruin everyone’s fun in the rest of the World.
That's why the banks have been exclusively targeting right wing content for the last half-decade, right? Do your homework. The banks are run by the elites that DGAF about who you vote for, but they listen to the Left a fuck-ton more than the Right because the Left does a fuck-ton more threats, posturing, etc. that would theoretically hurt them financially.
Nobody's listening to the remaining 40 thousand ultra conservative Christians that have no financial or political pressure to put on the banks that you're blaming for this.
i also don't see this as a Frigging right wing thing...WTF?
maybe take a LOOK at the left's ESG investing crap....the power they are wielding lately
since most of what i like is JAV...i am getting a little sick seeing this shit
BungaBunga It's not only MC and Visa, but the whole financial sector is leaning for stricter regulations. It kinda makes sense if you think about it...
ThePointyEnd I’m not trying to make this political, I don’t give a fuck who people vote for. The impression I’ve always gotten though is that the anti-porn pressure on financial institutions comes from religious groups. When I think of ultra religious nut jobs in America trying to force their beliefs on everyone else, I tend to think right wing conservatives. You’re right though, I haven’t done a ton of reading on this as I don’t care who these people are, just what the censorship issues they are causing. Right wing or left wing, leave my entertainment alone unless it is illegally produced content where participants have not consented such as children, animals, revenge porn, people trafficking etc.
ThePointyEnd Those in the firearms industry also have faced banking issues akin to ours.

BungaBunga because MC/Visa are based in the US and have to answer to the US media, but their policies are global.
Simply not true though. US media doesn't give a shit about what happens abroad. And so MC/Visa don't give much of a shit either.
spanker i also don't see this as a Frigging right wing thing...WTF?
LOL, this is 100% a right wing thing. It was in the past, it is now and it always will be. Maybe don't vote for the fucking idiots who go against your porn on the ballot next time.
Do you guys even know what "liberal" actually means? No wonder the US is so fucked up right now with such abysmal political education...
