So I upgraded to a VIVE Pro 2 and 3070ti and can't stream any videos over 2160p everything over that stutters. There are so many different settings for Vive between Vive console, SteamVR and geforce settings, does anyone know what settings will help me to be able to stream the highest quality? Honestly the videos appear to be the same if not worse quality than when I had OG Vive and a 1060 gpu.
I have tried messing around with most of the Vive settings (Extreme, Ultra, High, Balanced, and Performance) and Let Vive choose. Nothing seems to change. I can play games no problem with extreme settings but playing videos just isn't great even on performance setting. I have tried adjusting Resolution Per eye down to 80% have tried auto render resolution and nothing seems to be great.
I was also having a hard time playing downloaded videos but after updating my codecs seemed to fix that, which I thought was weird since its the same computer that had my OG vive.
So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
