There are literally threads dedicated specifically to people making pornstar suggestions. Do we genuinely need 50 individual posts on the front page for people to blog about their thoughts and feelings on every pornstar they can name? Why are the mods OK with this?

No we don't need it. How could a porn caster not know these names?

They wanted this to be the new way to make suggestions for some reason. Several of us predicted how this was going to go. It's made the forums a chore to scroll through.

@"diwanga"#p41326 I wish new replies wouldn't bump these pornstar threads. There's been a few times now that I've looked at a thread with an unfamiliar name then realised I wasn't interested. But then a few days later the thread gets bumped. I think it might be another pornstar but then I end up going through the same unwanted threads again and again. I can't see any way around it unless I commit to memory the names and faces of each pornstar I'm not interested in.

We are waiting for our casting guy to get back from vacations and manage these threads. Plenty will be set to inactive

This way, I can make a quick decision to hide a performer's thread if I'm not interested. And if it gets bumped a few days, weeks or even years from now, we won't have to go through the same thread again.

I think it’s cool to have a thread for each performer but perhaps make it its own part of the forum rather than have every post lumped into one page. Most forums I’ve seen have different sections. A musician forum usually has a different sections for tour date discussions, another section for general discussion about the band, another section for discussion about other bands, another section for non-music discussions etc etc. You navigate to the section you want, you don’t have to wade through every post. Even porn forums I’ve seen will have a models section, a general discussion section, a support section, a scene section and a studios section. So if you want to talk about a studio, to go to the studios section and click on the thread for that studio. Same for discussing a particular model or a particular scene. The general discussion section would then be for discussing porn in general or other porn sites. This would work better I think than the current forum where every post sits in the same section. Things can disappear off the front page pretty quickly before people get to see them.

Why are people spamming the forums with pornstars and the mods allowing it?

It is a bit spammy - but then again I dont come to this forum for discussions on geopolitics and boardgame strategies
