I totally get that SLR is a business and the scripters are entitled to the rights of the content they make and they are paid contractors. I'm not disputing the business model at all

However IT is kind of a bummer when certain scripts I have enjoyed for a while on SLr just become innacessible one day and I wish there was a way for us to at least get a heads up that "these scripts are leaving the platform".

I know SLR isn't Netflix but borring from the way that platform works Netflix let's you know when media or content is being depecrated and even if the videos are still available I'm personally very unlikely to revisit a video that had a script I enjoyed but is no longer available.

I don't know it's just a bummer that barring a major video distributor leaving we don't get a heads up when I'd argue scripts are just as valuable for this platform as the video content ( to me as a user) .

Wait, WHAT? I didn't know scripts could be removed from the platform independently of the content.

Can you share one of such cases? I'm worried now. Hopefully none of my favs were affected 😕

thatoculusdude It has happened, but it's rare.

To reiterate. Scripts are still owned by it's creator. The creators do not work as employee for SLR. As with the studios and their content, scripters can opt to remove their content at any time. - Individually purchased scripts will remain accessible for download in your account on your My Scripts page

As for notifications, we can add it to our list, but it's not going to be high priority.
