Jun 8 2023 Updated thread: https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/5038-july-2023-state-of-originals Update: that's cliffnotes https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/3575-tomorrow-there-is-a-landmark-originals-production-call/18 What's the most important things would you bring there? We are looking to have 5 US production teams shooting around 4-5 videos starting from March. All I tell producers - do you best to come up with new cool stuff. You can count on us in everything tech, post production and feedback, the rest is up for you. We are always happy to explore new ideas and concepts 🔥 Quick overview: - one team will be mostly shooting passthroughs. These will be greatly improved with March update completely removing green background and artifacts. Making it like a regular black box scene. Totally next gen passthorough like Quest 2 v Quest Pro. - @"Mutiny"#6805 will be looking into production - figuring out new logic for castings.

Three words is what I would bring and that is variety, variety and variety! More variety of storylines. More variety of female performers (not all slender teen looking models, not all lesser known newbies, let’s have some more established stars too). More varied levels of hardcore scenes (some vanilla and intimate. some rougher, some anal etc.) More variety of male performers (John Strong, for example, seems to be in a lot of scenes unless I am mistaken and, based on what I’ve seen of him, he appears to be very short which doesn’t work great for some positions, especially with taller girls). Focus on the art of making the scenes look great, getting girls into great positions, good lighting and clear views of penetration instead of efficiency (i.e. let’s see how many positions we can tick off without moving the camera around). Just a few thoughts.

@"petermc"#p36900 Totally agreed on that. That's why we get into separate team each with unique styles, locations and access to talent pools. We are going to stop using the same locations all over again.

> @"doublevr"#p36901 We are going to stop using the same locations all over again. Warehouse included? 🤣

@"LordCrash"#p36904 no more warehouse for sure

@"rerun119"#p36905 that's what I would do if i would be a director 👍️ No idea why it's so hard to get it right. Trying to get things going with multiple teams

Stories and characters, _please_. Solicit ideas/scripts from users if you don't have any ideas. I have a ton and I'm sure plenty of others here do as well. I can see any number of body parts go into any orifice for free with one Google search. I get my money's worth with context, immersion, etc. Wankz used to be the kings of stuff like this but they've gotten a lot more generic in recent times. Look back at their Zombie Slayers series, or the multi-part saga with Casey Calvert. They did two Elena Koshka scenes that were vastly different but scratched that same itch, one where you are on a blind date and another where she's your girlfriend. The former actually had you sit through a full 20 minutes or so of the date before any of the action and the latter was one of the only GFE scenes where I felt like there was an actual relationship. Build some tension. Make the viewer wait for it a little. Stuff like this is why cosplay scenes are so attractive. We have the familiarity with the characters built into our heads that are supposed to enhance the scene. I don't need an hour long epic but having a hot chick just walk up to me and hop on my dick is boring. I can also get that anywhere.

Agree, I just brought up the same scene 5 minutes ago on another thread about the blind date. That scene was amazing because of the story that build up. I also like multi scene story lines. That way you really get immersion with the story. Again SLR did it once then never again. Those 3 videos all are super high up on the all time list for the whole SLR site. Why don't they do it again cause they always talk about the numbers around here.

There's been sporadic calls for more close up shooting. An extreme closeup series would be welcome as a popular niche by many. I mean, put our faces right in the action.

Recap Thread: the landmark Originals production call

LordCrash

doublevr Shooting BGGA by default. A is for Anal. Where possible

So basically what RealJamVR is usually doing? Sounds good to me... 🙂

doublevr moving passthrough, EU scenes and others into separate channels.

NICE!!! 👍️

doublevr 10K rig is coming in April

Really looking forward to this one. A better picture is absolutely vital for VR at this point. Should be as good as 2d 4k, just crystal clear and "lifelike" to be really immersed.

LordCrash

petergriff The industry needs more India Summers.

And it needs India back... 😢

justsomedude101

LordCrash I basically forced my way into being involved with the casting haha. Every fan's dream 😊

spacepirate

justsomedude101 hope your taste is as fine as phillip's 👌

doublevr it's much better to make one great video taking all the Oscars and millions, than 10 videos no one would care about.

👍

doublevr Shooting BGGA by default. A is for Anal. Where possible

i hope that doesnt mean heaps of exclusively anal scenes. some balance would be good.. mix some anal into regular scenes for example.

doublevr no same location within 1 month, including decorated warehouses

👍 hopefully no warehouses at all

LordCrash

spacepirate 👍 hopefully no warehouses at all

Well, I think warehouse will still be used for some Cosplay scenes and rather unusual scenes and that's imho ok. But there should be a lot fewer of them and only if there's really no better option available. And even then it should be done everything to hide the fact that it's an actual warehouse by well-done temporary settings....

For everything else I'd like to have proper sets, classrooms etc. included. In VR you do have to go the extra mile here because you can't simply ignore the ceiling etc. by clever angles etc. In VR you always have a 180° sight so no chance to hide something. A classroom with a warehouse ceiling is a guaranteed immersion breaker...

Marta

LordCrash That's great, that's one of the things we love about VR it's a fully immersive experience and you notice every single detail, even the ceiling!

Ventriloquist_Tacos

Passthrough where the dude/dick is barely if at all visible would be my number 1 priority. After that, blowbangs like the Veronica Leal one! non POV MMM+ F, etc.

petermc

eos666 this is a joke right?

so... solo?

dango789

I would like to add that most of the SLR community loved Phillip’s casting, as was evident by scene comments & our reactions on the forums.

While I do encourage the new casting team experiment with the direction they want to take it, please at least use Phillip’s casting logic as a blueprint. We were happy. Please make small tweaks instead of drastic changes.

petermc

doublevr sounds promising, thanks for the update.

Marta

dango789 We are trying always to stay innovative and hold true to our core values. We love members of our community and endorse your ideas, thank you!

dango789

Marta Thank you, Marta! I hope that means there won't be too much deviation away from Phillip's hugely popular casting logic.

diwanga

Sort by Top > All Time and there’s literally no anal anywhere page after page - but yeah keep imagining that it’s a high priority I guess 🤷

mirdumar

doublevr

Does this mean no more BG scenes (with only one girl)?

Don't get me wrong i love threesome scenes sometimes, but i also love simple BG scenes.

doublevr

mirdumar if a performer doesn’t show up we still proceed with BG. And they know not to show up frequently.

It’s like our lifehack, let’s plan threesome and then whatever happen

LordCrash

doublevr
I'd love some BGG, BBG and MGGG scenes as well. Variety is king! 😉

And with a planned BGGG you at least have a threesome if one girl doesn't show up.... 😛

With a good combination of girls who have chemistry BGGG is imho one of the best things in VR porn. There's hardly anything better than two girls eagerly kissing each other right in front of your eyes while you fuck the third one (well, for me, at least). Or three girls sucking your cock and sucking your balls at the same time while looking right up in your eyes. Epic stuff... 😍

justsomedude101

LordCrash And with a planned BGGG you at least have a threesome if one girl doesn't how up.... 😛

No joke, this was something we discussed on a call earlier today haha.

Ventriloquist_Tacos

spacepirate No, just 1:1s where you can make the dude more transparent/less noticeable. It's not the same as solo, both from chemistry, seeing the girls body move in different ways, etc. Also, looking for dual purpose here where you can go non passthrough when you want and solo is usually boring for many of us.
