i just find this tools which called depth3d and reshade...
some similar exist and is called vorpx but cost money.

watching porn in that is really amazing and with pico 4... they quality is amazing too and way better than what deovr can...

this tools are made for games flat games to work in vr and give like nice 3d and depth on flat screen...and even more possible...

but even watchling flat videos in that tool depth3d is awesome great and i wonder if slr could implement something like that and in deovr player...

its interesting to experiment with that tools and probably useful for you guys too and the developers here to experiment with that tools...

both tools are great and im experimenting right now with it myself and what possible and how to use them for vr porn...

watching just normal flat porn clips from browser is already another level and gives you like nice depth and still looking nice quality.

i am noob myself when it comes to softwares...

but im sure there ways to use that stuff for vr porn and you can achieve nice immersive effect with that all stuff for flat clips and even vr clips.

but im thinking about more how to use that all for passthrough porn and put on flat clips...so that it all appears with depth and in 3d while in passthrough mode...

sadly i have rly low knowledge how to make this possible and if it even possible to do...

i can't even correct explain this all and what my mind think of..xD

Hey, this is certainly interesting, did you find any example that it is working on flat 2 video?
At first glance it seems you need an actual 3D engine running a game.

VorpX etc are remapping to 3D from the original projection created via DirectX. This is why it works for games, which are rendering a 3D model to 2D, but with 2D video there is no depth information and DirectX is effectively just rendering a bitmap. There are techniques for creating depth maps from 2D footage (hence '3D conversion' in cinema) but those are expensive and still require extensive manual work, IIRC.

Which is not to say that there aren't ways to generate a fake 3D perspective for existing 2D material... as a start, here's a video on a tool called VideoSolo which claims to do just that:

    yes something like this i try to do here and experiment with + in passthrough mode...

    some flat porn works good and especially scenes where you see full body of person but it still like looking flat (without depth) and that ruins immersive...

    tried in unity already with clip of this girl:

    cut of backround in affter effects and after run through ffmeg tool for keep alpha channel and after you can just put that clip inside unity without do anything more and it will be with transparent background for passthrough...
    then add grab interactable and transform so that i can move and scale that clip inside app...

    the result is was nice and there probably more simple and faster how to do this all...
    and with some depth and 3d this would look perfect in passthrough and like vr porn which is in passthrough...

    just turn some normal flat scenes into vr with depth or like 3d effect would be amazing too.

    For me it's sometimes the other way round. I watch some muddy VR scene and wished it would be crystal clear 4k 2D stuff I could enjoy on my big TV... 🤣

    i tried to use depth3d through ALXR...first in normal mode and after passthrough but for some reason the depth not rly working this way...no matter if with or without passthrough.

    if i run depth3d through virtual desktop...then everything fine and i see immediately the difference and the depth thing working.

    what can be the reason for that ? why in ALXR depth3d has no effect ? can't see it this way and it looks like different and more 2d flat...
