rerun119 idk how it works exactly, but on DeoVR Horizontal offset fixes the horizontal scale, and Vertical offset fixes the vertical scale. I don't think it has anything to do with tilt or positioning

They're a must for the new passthrough scenes since the scale is always off and zoom alone doesn't fix that. When the girl looks too small, I set both to +1.0. The scale on regular VR scenes is usually off too, but it's harder to notice since I don't have a real world reference

lolitovtb Put the vertical to plus 5 and then tilt your head up to the right and then up to the left. You will see what vertical is doing. It's shifting one of the eyes up and down. The bigger you change the vertical if your head is looking straight on then the more distorted you are making the picture. Just an FYI.

rerun119 ah I just tested it and you're right. I assumed Vertical offset would have a similar effect on the scale as Horizontal offset, but since I only set it to +1.0/-1.0, I didn't really notice it's not doing what I thought it was. Still, Horizontal offset alone seems to work for fixing the scale

There’s dynamic mesh coming in the next DeoVR update along with FOV optimization and in app IPD setup. Can’t wait.
      Before

      After

Btw I've checked HereSphere today and it's just a copy of DeoVR in every aspect:

      • local playback and streaming logic
      • banner on top of the streaming site
      • haptics logic and features
      • niches annotation

the dude just steals all the ideas from Deo lately. Not a single insight or inspiration.

doublevr it's just a copy of DeoVR in every aspect

Yup. Even the name is an exact copy. Is this the opening game of the sarcasm world cup?

Hairsational These are strong allegations and totally uncalled for. And if that's supposed to be the first diss track in a VR player rap feud, I don't get the choice of arguments. Why not talking about PT? What is streaming logic anyway, press a button, video starts playing?

alphaRonaldo it's more on a feature and logic level. No other player but here sphere and playa are so much similar to deovr.

Ui is the only thing left to copy

I don't want to get banned again on here for making a comment but Heresphere has looked the same since i bought it years ago. I truly do not understand if this is a troll statement being made. Heresphere can do things for years now that no other player can even get close to.
At the moment I can't use DEO through steam without the menu jumping all around like it is causing the headset to lose its spatial place. The image gets worse the longer you have the headset on. So i'm back to downloading to play them on heresphere. Works like a champ everytime.

              doublevr Pimax 8kx.
It is very weird. I started using it again about 2 months ago. At first with it set to 75 fps it worked fine. Then it started to get a little bad so I put it to 60fps to see if that was causing it. That worked at first then it started to get worse again.
It is now to the point that once you pull up the menu it is horrible.
It only starts after you start a video and pull up the menu. Once you do that it never goes back to normal.
I just checked with playing local files and it acts the exact same way.

doublevr Activating the options menu is what causes it to happen. I don't know if you have heard of this or if it happens to other people. If there is a way to record it inside the headset and send it to you, I would do that.

rerun119 i guess the fucus is on Quest. Windows devices aren't good software. Steam is bad ass for vr dev

Contacting deovr support can get you a fix

doublevr How do I start a support ticket? I have looked on here and on SLR website. Maybe I have to do it in the headset. I try that next but if I can't find it there then can you tell me where it is.
                  Thanks
