Passthrough default background possible?

I don't have passthrough support on my vr headset but i'm wondering if it's technically possible to supply a default room background as a feature in SLR player so that passthrough videos are more watchable for those of us without passthrough support.

Seeing the green background takes me out of the scene completely, so that's why I ask.

its technically possible but they cant just use some 2d background. it would have to be either a computer generated background or a vr video of some empty room. even if they did that it will still look really bad because amongst other things the lighting on the models wont match the lighting on background... similar to the old evileyevr scenes.
