RockyMtHigh I’ve just re-subbed to DarkroomVR after about a year out and they seemed to have upped the intensity of their scenes in the interim. Lots more choking, manhandling and some quite hard fucking. I personally like to see some face slaps in an aggressive scene and they still only do very light little love taps mostly but at least they are starting to incorporate a little bit more intensity and aggression into their scenes.

I’m not crazy about the dark moody lighting with lots of shadows but they actually shoot super hot (mainly European) girls and shoot it really well in terms of scaling, distances etc.

mnmlikereal You've actually hit the nail on the head.
Everyone's going on about variety wanting harder/softer this position/that position, but the build up IS the variety and 99% of videos have little to no build up or drop the scenario right away to get to the "good stuff".
They might even say there is a story or characters but it doesn't matter who they are if 1 minute in they are naked in a bed going through a standard rotation of positions and you can't tell one scene from another.
DarkroomVR for example as very evocative thumbnails and descriptions but every video I've seen is just standard porn with some shadows.

All the videos that stick with me (and that I go back to when bored) are the ones that not only TAKE THEIR TIME setting up but keep the theme or relationship going throughout. This alone creates variety in physicality and mood because no setups are the exact same and the more they commit to it the more unique it gets. If this was more common I'd bet the variety of positions speeds and intensity would take care of itself instead of needing to be created by ticking a checkbox of doing the same stuff in a different outfit, or same position but with hair pulling. It doesn't require oscar level writing or acting or even an explicit roleplay scenario, just a bit more thought and care than we are typically getting.

surfsign that’s just one type of variety and you are right they could vary the story and build up more. You can still have variety in the sex itself though from gentle and sensual love making to full on hate fucking to kinky BDSM. There’s huge variety within porn as to the type of sex and different kinks there are but VR mostly ignores pretty much all of it and concentrates almost exclusively on very vanilla GFE porn.

Second this. One of my most memorable scenes was "Stepmom's Little Helper", MilfVR release a few years ago. The sexual build up and tension with Lauren in the first part was gold. Redhulk50 yep. There are some headsets that have colour passthrough now though. You still have an issue that your room obviously doesn’t move when you tilt the camera but the girl does so doing any camera movement fucks up the illusion. You have to physically act out the scene to make it work (i.e. stand up for the standing positions, lay down for the laying down positions etc.).

There seems to be plenty of people who enjoy it so it makes sense to throw a few scenes in for those people. Thankfully the majority are still standard scenes with proper backgrounds for the rest of us.

when i still had quest 2 then i just turn the model into black-white too...so everything matches with the black-white passthrough...

the result was much better this way but it was like you watch some old porn movie that complete in black-white...^^

but that a very good tipp for quest 2 users with black-white passthrough and that way it's more immersed than having a color girl with black-white background which ruins the illusion...

Hell G, what I do on q2 is have my Spotify on threw oculus browser, turn the sharpness up turn her purple or gray and I got me like this trippy visual while medicated of course. Plus with pt it could look grany sum times so the visual looks like sum cyber-ish sex scene I'm zapped into.

You use capcut? u can add picture effects and change the sound with echo or chipmunk voice, would be really cool to do that on the fly with the deo options, but just a few effects, it don't have to have so much. I'd love to have a glitch slider so I could glitch the video, so it glitches every now and then, make it look cyber-ish or something.
