  • Thankyou SLR!

Thanks to the SLR team -
This year has been awesome!

  • Tons of great SLR videos
  • Amazing amount of content every day (including holidays like this christams!)
  • Experimental features and a spirit of adventure from the SLR team
  • Openness and willing to chat with us on the forum
  • A feeling that you are some of the "good guys" in the adult industry
  • (maybe just my imagination) The models are getting more and more beautiful

So glad I joined the site as a lifetime member

My only ask for 2023 is that, just once, you pick up on one of my pornstar suggestions
you fix the JAV slider so it remembers the setting when you log in!

SUCH A BRILLIANT SITE! Happy new year everyone

    catflap

Yeah agreed πŸ‘ def my favourite site now. Always a load of new content with loads of variety, and quality scenes in the originals as well (esp Alex Nash! The best scenes anywhere πŸ™‚) πŸ‘

So glad they went back to the old camera - immersion, presence and realism are so much more important than more K’s etc.

More of the same in 2023 please πŸ‘πŸ‘

Edit:- the app is awesome as well. To be able to navigate so much content to all the best bits so quickly is nothing short of fantastic πŸ€©πŸ‘

the only wish I have is: MOAR of everything!

2022 has been great, lets make 2023 even better! πŸ™‚

also wanna say thank you to slr team!
i feel you guys doing something unprecedented for a porn company, that you guys aren't afraid to experiment, push boundaries, and create new technologies that are improving the space and viewing experiences for us. And that you guys are open to suggestions and let the community get involved in helping. VR porn world is so much better because of you guys and so glad you exist.
    much love

Hi everyone! This is my first time commenting on the forum.

Indeed, this year was really GREAT in the plataform, tons of AWESOME new content, and daily!!
A HUGE thank you to the SLR Team! You guys rock πŸ˜‰

I completely agree with @catflap, fixing the JAV slider would be something great.
It's indeed a lil bit annoying to have to switch it wenewer you wanna see some JAV..

And also adding a new button taking you to the last page when you are checking the pages from "my collection" would be much appreciated aswell. It's quite simple but it could be useful for everyone to use too.

THANK YOU! AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

I also want to extend my thanks to the team at SLR for all the support as well as all you fine people who've made me feel so welcome. This year has been life-changing and there's so much more to come in 2023!

Agree with the comments above, it's been a great year. You can always find something to criticise about any site, and there's always room for more of whatever unique niche you specifically like, but between the breadth of content, Originals, and far and away the best provision of scripts on the market, I'm happy to keep renewing my sub.

(Now just get Remy Lacroix back and you'll have me as a customer for life.)

Many of us miss the times when there were fewer Originals, but of much higher quality. More quantity does not mean better. The best Originals are from two or three years ago.

Plus the new 8K camera has ruined a lot of Originals for people who make us girls look like giants. And it's still happening to us every day because it's still being used by so many studios.

So no, not the best year...

Personally 2022 means the year I subscribed because they were going to release JAV Originals in August, and here we are....

catflap Great post! I'm glad you started this thread and fully agree with all points. I am a long time subscriber, but relatively new to posting on the forums. For me personally, this was the year that I feel SLRO moved to the top spot on my list of creators. While I am still a big fan of a couple other sites, I think what put the SLRO team over the top was #3&4 on Catflap's list and echoed by doefi3

Experimental features and a spirit of adventure from the SLR team
Openness and willing to chat with us on the forum

To me, SLR's community engagement and implementation of feedback is absolutely next level! (and I mean that for all of the SLR team members on the boards as well as the customer community members that contribute huge amounts of info to the forums). I feel like they choose to tap the community hive mind far more than any other site to discuss future tech, near future goals, or just random 'outside the box' ideas for new and different features. Some of these may be good ideas, some may be not so much, some may get implemented, some may not... but the point is, what usually feel like internal team discussion topics, are instead presented directly to us the community for feedback. It is this attention given to the customers desires, and the constant push to bring better and better quality that separates the SLR team from the majority of the others that choose to just offer a 'safe' product that is 'good enough'. Here, I feel like the money I spend on the sub is actually being rewarded with an ever evolving product, as opposed to a simple transaction of-- I give you X dollars, and you give me Y number of 'safe, good enough' scenes. I truly do appreciate it!

Natch Many of us miss the times when there were fewer Originals, but of much higher quality.

Who is "many of us"? Speak for yourself, dude...

Personally, I don't think that the Originals from like two or three years ago were better than those of last year in general. Not at all.

Thanks SLR for the great content you provided to us this year. I came a lot. πŸ˜›

LordCrash Why do you always get so offended by someone else writing something? How much is "many" in German? Does that mean everybody to you? Does that mean i'm speaking for LordCrash?

I don't think there is anything wrong with his opinion of "Many of us miss the times when there were fewer Originals, but of much higher quality". I might be a 'many', do I count? I only speaking for myself... and Natch.

rerun119 I'm not speaking for anyone but myself, but I will say I was a bit disappointed to see @Natch's post in this thread, which @catflap started as a place for people to share end-of-the-year appreciation. Just seems like bad form to use this thread to air (perfectly valid) grievances instead of one of the many other threads intended for feedback and suggestions. Imagine someone passing around a birthday card at the office and everyone writes happy birthday but one person writes "You owe me 20 dollars." It may be true, but maybe not the right context. πŸ˜ƒ

But of course all are welcome to share our views!

Mutiny This might not have been the best place to put grievances.
I will speak for "many' of us when I say that your videos are always well done. Since you kind of work for SLR, thanks for all your hard work. I really mean it.
LordCrash just drives me crazy sometimes with his, he gets to make all the rules on how you are allowed to talk in the forums.

rerun119 It's all good, my friend. We all annoy each other from time to time. Never know why someone else might be having a bad day and just need to vent.

Thank you, sincerely, for your kind words. I feel like if I'm asking for your time, I need to earn it. I'll keep taking big swings and they won't all be winners, but not for a lack of trying!

Haha, well i agree with @Mutiny, rerun119 and i also can understand & i respect your vision here @Natch.

We can not crucify Natch, since he/she didn't said anything "wrong/bad". Just sharing his point..

But yeah, this was meant to be an appreciation post, as i'm sure that this was the only & nice intention from @catflap in the first place.

But, just as Mutiny commented above, indeed, maybe this was not the best thread to complain for such a thing.
Thought you perfectly could! Naturally you can comment here whatewer you want, for sure, it's just that this was not the propose of this thread/love letter..

There are many other threads where to choose & complain, or you could simply create a new one with the title:

"SLR Before you were Cool" "SLR You're all getting Old & Fat" or something like that.. ^^"
(yeah, sorry for the idea dear SLR)... You can fire me afterwards if you see any of that later :p

Anyways, it's always fun discussing and get to learn from other people opinions, as long as this is treated with care & respect.

                  πŸ₯‚

Mutiny but I will say I was a bit disappointed to see @Natch's post in this thread, which @catflap started as a place for people to share end-of-the-year appreciation

Well, honestly it seemed to me that this was a thread to tell what you thought of SLR in 2022, so I have done that.

I forgot that the tendency now is to make the vacuum to comments that are not complacent and not just say only good things about SLR.

For me 2022 at SLR has been a disappointing year, but I guess that's of no interest in a post that I felt was meant to give a summary of the year, so it seems it's just to thank SLR.

The problem is that I've been looking for something to say thanks, and everything I liked about SLR has either gone downhill, or they haven't delivered on the main reason I subscribed....

In any case, Happy New Year to all...

rerun119 LordCrash Why do you always get so offended by someone else writing something? How much is "many" in German? Does that mean everybody to you? Does that mean i'm speaking for LordCrash?

DonΒ΄t worry @rerun119, he tends to criticize most of my comments. I guess I don't like him.

Natch Thanks for your reply. I interpreted the intention of the thread differently, as a place to post thanks, but I wasn't going to say anything until people started getting heated about it. What you said is totally fair. And I'm sorry this year was disappointing for you. Truly. That sucks. (and not in the good way. πŸ˜‰ )

Happy New Year to you as well. I hope 2023 is amazing for you.
