For all the business people... Looks like Handy is actively pushing their automated interactive scripts service to paysites. Basically offering them turnkey solution.

There were a number of poor quality assessments like the most recent one https://discuss.eroscripts.com/t/naughty-america-scripts-a-review/80600 but it definitely has an impact on our business.

Just to be clear - SLR offers hi-end up to frame precise scripts with gorgeous taste and flavour. Handy offers some conveyer belt stuff that it's not really there and has significant usage limitations as they only provide tokens to be used on Handy instead of providing an actual script to the end user.

  1. Studios are very little acknowledged of the scripts and confuse SLR and Handy services for being about the same. They wrongfully think they can get scripts covered to their users with Handy. Yet it's enough to for them to make a decision they don't want their videos to be scripted on SLR.
  2. Users that never tried good scripts won't know about SLR. I do agree that we are not doing enough on marketing side of things.

We put a lot of effort in script automation and see it as a tool to speed up high quality scripting which still requires a lot of fine tuning. Idea of scripting is not to perfectly replicate the action, but to use script creator interpretation of what's in the video into a script.

We are totally invested to build up SLR scripting community and get more human made scripts. We also want to advance automate script creation and turn it into a powerful tool for creators. It's no doubt though that script automation has potential and it gets better over time.

Looks like Double found a new witch hunt, next up itll be posts about handy users are evil and worse for the porn world than downloaders, pirates and hackers.

dojimmy just a reflection. I'm okay with what Handy is doing. They kinda spoil it, but that's how things work. I'm sure we are going to win this game.

Well i hope you manage to get your win without alienating the handy users and Sweet Tech in the process. Though after reading and re reading your op i highly doubt that is your aim.

Its hard to be optimisic when you know the other party in a conversation only responds when they want to and only about the issues they care about. All while they are ignoring questons and legitamte complaints in other threads.

dojimmy Can't do much if the other party often does not accept the answers given and pushes to the point when any further communication gets useless.

Double you and others here all ignore so many posts in so many threads from me and others that is just a down right lie. With regard to optimism if you took the time read my posts you would see they are full of optimism, positivity and idea's when i am not talking to you. Somehow your inability to answer questions without snark drags out my pessimistic side super fast.

@everyone else, hopefully catch you again soon, if the powers that be don't make my incoming ban permanent.

Competition is good for users and ecosystem, better tech faster and cheaper -> hence more available to mass market

Clarify, please. You're not saying that SLR will stop supporting use of the Handy, are you?

If not, I don't know why anyone here would be too worried.

what I love most about using an SLR is using haptics to control edging that The Handy just can't provide

jacky68 FYI: You can easily create an edging button for the handy if you have some programming skills (https://staging.handyfeeling.com/api/handy/v2/docs/). Personally, I have this (and other things) mapped to the buttons of an xbox controller and also have it accessible by a little GUI (already had this before it was a feature and the SLR one does not work for me on PC).

Just want to say the Handy sucks and the Keon is superior. Hoping SLR's device is even better.

                      RockyMtHigh

Might be superior in your eyes but SLR won't support Bluetooth devices much longer, sometime 2024 is the current time frame for that to end. Which is little to convenient that they announced their own toy to be released around the same time Bluetooth support would end. let's hope SLR manage do manage to pull off something awesome with there own toy.

dojimmy yeah it's certainly my opinion, though I do think that the construction of the handy, especially to use straight out of the box, is awful.

That said, regarding the bluetooth thing, I will either just use SLRs or buy whatever is the best and compatible at the time. Hopefully it isn't the handy. My only concern about SLRs device is they seem to have a lot of amazing features planned, and hope they aren't going to miss the main purposes of the device in an effort to add some unique features. Spreading themselves too thin, if you will. But I have faith.

RockyMtHigh I agree completely about the handy being awful out the box, where The keon is definitely more useable. Once i got a sturdy and easy to adjust handsfree setup I find the the handy way easier to use set up and move around. And being an edging fan there is nothing more annoying than running out of batter mid session.
