ZENRA Is the movie truly 8K?
Yes, I have bought DPVR-007 to test at the english store of A Festa VR and downloaded from the japanese store, and it has 8.192 x 4096 pixels, 60 fps and a bitrate of 59 / 60 Mbps. It doesn't look an upscaling, it is native 8K. It looks great, on par with the 8K videos seen here in SLR, but without making people look like giants.
In the English store it is still at 4K...
I don't know what camera they use but it doesn't make the girls look gigantic, as it happens in western studios with their 8K camera. In this Japan studios now surpasses western studios.
It's strange that A Festa VR doesn't advertise this, because they've beaten DMM. There's just a tiny banner in one corner.
I don't know, I don't have Quest 2 or Mac. But they are standard 4K or 8K mp4.
