That stinks. I liked a lot of the VRBangers scenes. They had gotten pretty good with the story and scaling in the recent months.

How often are you planning to put out videos with 7 teams?

Are they all going to be under the same banner of SLR or are they going to be split up into SLRO and SLR EU and so on?

I would guess most of your customers only watch VR porn a couple of times a week for 12 mins a time (as you have stated). It seems that quality over quantity would be a winning formula. If I only watch 2 times a week and know that SLR has the best videos every time then I turn it on and watch SLR then off. If I'm not sure that a SLR video is going to be great then I watch something else.

What happened to AlexNashVR?

    rerun119 We are trying to produce as much as possible in Nov and Dec getting everyone on max capacity. Everything under Originals so far. I'm not the most excited about our EU releases. Working to level it up. If we can get it right will separate these under a dedicated brand.

    Also releasing most of our stocks.

    Not sure AlexNashVR. It was Alex personal project that we supported. Hope he can follow up.

    Shorts are coming in a week or two.

      doublevr Thank you so much, looking forward to hearing back. Considering how many SLR-official scripts are tied to VRBangers videos, granting a temporarily unlimited script download access would be VERY appreciated.

          doublevr I mean we paid for the scripts to be streamable to have them in the first place, and since that is being dropped from the SLR side, I feel like there should at least be a very substantial increase in the download quota for the customers for this brief window

              @doublevr in addition to the script quota, can the 30 vid download per 5 day quota be increased significantly as well during this period temporarily, in order to retrieve all of the videos given the less than 2 week deadline? thank you for helping with this

              They have good videos. I think the newer videos are really good. But no comparison to SLR Originals. Can you remove the download restriction separately for VR Bangers videos? At least I bought the big hard drive during Black Friday Week.

                whats the new release cadence going to be for slr originals going forward? does 7 production crews mean an slr originals scene every day? hopefully the new crews can learn how to shoot vr well fast without months or years of scenes with poor camera placement, no eye contact and other rookie errors.

                What you see here is indicative of a large scale shift in North American society. First the COVID-19 closures killed the global economy and for quite a long time America was able to push back these global trends by flooding the marked with newly minted currency. But then the green agenda came along and there was push-back over the mandates, and now there's a supply chain problem just starting to be visible. Obviously, there will be problems with both hardware and software in the VR world, because these are, after all, luxury goods and services.

                The problem here, for porn and other media, is that digital products, with a subscription, are hard to sell. Piracy is prevalent, and most folks don't mind lower quality goods for a very considerable price reduction. The streaming companies are now eyeing the possibilities of VR porn.

                    They actually have a pretty good lifetime black friday deal at the moment (not sure if I am going to take them up on it though)

                    I think its a natural progression for a studio -

                    1 ) You start with a small catalog of videos that frankly nobody is going to pay for, and during that early stage it make sense to be on SLR as this is the only way to get money coming in

                    2 ) After a while, when you have everything set up and have hundreds of videos - you may decide you can make more money by "cutting out the middle man" (in this case SLR)

                    4 ) You add a couple more "boutique" studios to your brand, such as a cosplay one, and then offer a bundle deal.

                    5 ) Once you have your own stable of studios being served via a single subscription you then compete directly with SLR and cut deals with other studios directly

                    Its not great, but the progression of studios through this sequence is an indication of how successful VR Porn is, which ultimately is a win for us
